I know Az is away, but somebody else might be able to answer my question, because Az may have already talked about it. Is there going to be a book released of the "I am a Japanese School Teacher" editorials? If so will there be extra stories? I would defineately buy it.

He's in negotiations with several publishers. I'm his agent. That means I get 15%. He just doesn't realize it yet (he was drunk during our contract negotiations -- don't tell anyone so the contract won't be invalidated!).

Seriously though, I've tried to tell him he should do it, and he knows that he should do it, so I believe he's searching for good publishers to do it now. With some success I believe. He's the authority though.

We've been talking about it for a while on SRK.com. No word yet as wether a book is coming or not though. Here's hoping Az becomes a japanese celeb.

He wouldn't become a Japanese celebrity. His humour doesn't really translate in most spots. He may very well become an author with a relatively large reader base. Who knows?

And I get 15%.

I think a book would be awesome! It would get more people to come to your site (which could be a good thing or bad) and people who have never even heard of your site but have gone to Japan, are interested in Japanese, or just want a good laugh would buy it. I know that most of the members of the forum would buy it too.

I saw someone like that on Japanese TV. Who is it? Or is there more than one of them? And really, WHAT THE FUCK?
