The first movie was pretty good, this one should be better! I heard tv guide has an up-comin special issue and has a cd-rom of behind the scenes, pics, and interviews from HSM 2. Anyone here into watching this too?

I liked the first movie so I'm sure I'll watch the second (and third) movie.

I never fully watched the first. Not my cup of tea. But it's really popular with the little kids, I've noticed.

Never finished it. I'll probaly watch it for Corbin because his hair distracts me from everything.

Hey I just watched the first one a couple days ago... well the second half anyway. I liked it, though I like pretty much any musical I watch. I wonder what the second one will be about.

High School Musical never fails to brings out my kid side. I'll try to grab a copy of tv guide(HSM2 at the cover) I think it's already out now...I'd like to know more about the second sequel.

Big Dumb Entertainment for Big Dumb America. The movie musical revival is pretty interesting, though the most interesting work being done with it is in Europe (Once, several years ago Dancer in the Dark) and about 8 years back in Asia (Happiness of the Katakuris). Broadway = Lowest Common Denominator, Broadway for Disney Channel = Lowest Common 13-Year-Old. Whatever happened to the Rock Opera? I want to remake Rock 'N' Roll High School but with the Beastie Boys instead of the Ramones.
