Harvest Moon: It's a wonderful life (GC): A game about building up your farm and supporting a family while it's all in cartoonish detail.... Yeah, not very manly. The thing is they know I play it and they make fun of me everytime I do :(.

Any good rpg like game with characters bordering cutesy or are cutesy. Not only does it make me uncomfortable, but my friends as well. It's just weird to sit with your buds and be playing with some cute character with a big sword... <shrug>

Oh yeah I thought of one more.

Thirteen: I play cards a lot. I play with 2 different groups of people. One group is for poker.... Any kind of poker. And the other is for some games like Thirteen, Bullshit, and Shithead. My poker group always makes fun of me when I play thirteen with my other friends :(. But it's soooo damn addictive.

You got my vote there man. Minsweeper rules though, and it's supposed to get some update for Vista.

I used to play Japanese dating sims at one point, which definitely is high up there in point of dorkiness/nerdiness and attributes to something I don't want to share with the public. Can't think of something that tops it, unless it is Japanese and a game that involves raging homosexuals/tentacles.

(not to diss on gay people, but there was this crappy homosexual-theme game in Japan)

Sims is cute. I think I liked it so much, because of the funny way they talked. Also I always had trouble making the Sims like each other and I always vowed I wouldn't quit, until I got my girl to marry. :p ... But that's in the past.

The only dating sim type game I played was Thousand Arms, and I thought it was pretty funny that you had build up your relationship with the various women in the game in order to imbue your weapons with new abilities and spells.

Are you talking about the 3D interactive game Sims, from the creator of Sim City/Sim Ants/Spore, or Japanese dating sims? You got me confused.... And those things are as different as water and oil. I'm talking stuff like To Heart/Dokimeki Memorial/Sentimental Graffiti.... aaaaaaaah I must stop.

Thousand Arms was a decent game, but not a great one- yet I don't think it ever got on with the American audience- the dating element was seen as something unusual, I remember. Other than that, there are dating elements in Harvest Moon series...

Sorry to have confused you. I meant the 3D interactive game. Is there that much of a difference between them?

My friends think I'm just stupid playing with the Nintendo Game Console.

"Dude, get Xbox, they have Halo 2!"
"No maaan, get da Pee-Ess-Tuu, it got da fun gamez!"
"Or dat, yo! Doz gamez yu play got no gud graffix!!"

... The fuck?

Yeah, there are good graphics in the Nintendo Gamecube, take a look at Super Smash Bros: Melee! I mean, c'mon, it had all your oldschool game characters in 3D formation, and the playing factor can last up to a fuckin' lifetime! It doesn't really matter if graphics are good, Zelda's Windwaker graphics aren't cut up to be another Dynasty Warriors, but hey, at least the storyline is in place!!!

Fuck you, asswipes! You just don't give a chance to other stuff, just brag, brag, just go hump a dead moose, just what Eminem once said.

Pokemon. Although I don't care if my friends know that I play it, as they also play it.

Wouldn't want anyone else to know though.

Quite. Just imagine a text-based roleplaying game with accompanying images, with different inputs resulting in different reactions/images. Most of the time you are playing a guy who have attractively drawn anime girls just keep falling upon your lap with several mishaps to follow... And to call it a game, some may have certain attributes/points where it shows how attractive you are/how deeply you are with a character. It's a substitute of a relationship for many lonely Japanese men, and many will deny its existence.

Some of them can be quite tame, whereas some of them go into the area of softcore/hardcore porn. Check out this website if you are interested in the dirty ones... www.jastusa.com

I feel dirty just typing this. Something violent...

Tales of Symphonia. People can't seem to grasp a serious storyline if its told through chibis.

Heh, I tried to try a dating sim once, but the only ones they had there were porn sims.
Megatokyo, I read a bit of it, and made me want to see why "the main character" guy liked them so much, plus Super Milk-Chan played one on an episode, so anything she does, has to be cool!
