I'm actually considering getting the 10th (or was it15th) aniversary collection for my Xbox.

15th! Though he's close to 18 now! I don't play mega man anymore, I only have MegaMan X for SNES, 3 for NES, and that legends for PS. So my main mega man supply would be made of roms, and it's just not as fun to mash keys on the keyboard.. ( And gets tricky with the later games! ) :(

I've played several of the old Megaman games, Legends 1&2, one of those shitty new Battlenet(or whatever they're called) ones, and most of the X series.

Never really cared for any of them. My favorite was the first X game I played. I think it was 2 or 3. I liked blowing through the game in just a few minutes, while getting all the tanks and the golden armor. Then giving the end boss a thourough beating.

I've got the original Japanese carts for everything from MM1 through X3 (including Soccer and R&F), and play most of them regularly. Got the boxes and books for 2-5 of the original series, as well...hehehe...

Megaman is sweet, but I've got this problem where I cannot beat video games out of order (regardless of whether or not they are related to one another) so until I beat the first one, I cannot beat any others. And I've been playing the first one for about... three years, and still haven't beaten it:D

The NES Megamans are hard compared to later ones IMO. I think it's the spikes... There are so many spikes... Everywhere... :(

X series is so much fun though, I like the collecting aspect of it. :p

Yes, but I don't wanna know the hidden trick until I beat it... it makes the game less worth it. For instance, I beat Mario 3 the normal way (beating EVERY spot) before I went back and found the whistles of godliness. Now I can beat the game in a half hour :D ... but it was that initial first time that was awesome because I beat it without being cheap....

still three years IS a long time... :rolleyes:
