There is nothing that brightens my day more than sitting through an entire 48 Hours CBS special and watching our judicial system fall apart.

It could be the preposterous theory the prosecution set up against David Camm or it could be the fact that the jury was so dead set on convicting this man from day one that pissed me off.
I mean they have so much evidence that doesn't even LINK David Camm to the murder of his wife and children and yet its like the prosecution and jury were all like, "I'm not convinced. I need hard evidence. By hard evidence I need a video tape, 10 more witnesses that showed David's exact movements, and Mr. Goodbar."
They have the guy. I mean they have the guy RIGHT THERE. Then POOP David Camm is back in prison and found guilty because everyone is brain dead.
You wanna explain to me how the fuck someone can have 15 minutes to do something so perfect and drive back to basketball game casually!? ARE YOU OUT OF YOU FUCKING MINDS!?
I have no doubt that David was a promiscuous man and cheated on his wife. The idea that his daughter might of been molested by him was the only reason the charged him again. This wasn't about murder. They think he molested his daughter and decided to find him guilty. Even though I don't even think THAT happened.
The Judge even dropped the conspiracy charge, but hells fucking bells if the prosecution and jury weren't dead set on thinking that's what the fuck happened.
Oh lets just fucking ignore that there are 10 fucking people who all say that he was in the same fucking spot as the murders happened. Yeah, lets just fucking ignore that hard evidence. Lets also ignore the fact that the real murderer left his shirt there that had his NAME ON IT! No!!!! You need some real fucking evidence dumbasses.
My faith in this country was fine when Zero-Tolerance was getting zinged out. Now I've lost faith in our judicial system. It's such an imperfect trite piece of bullshit that this could just slip through. That people can just be bumbling retarded to ignore fact.

My mom was part of a jury who were taking on the case of a woman who was beaten. The woman was beat the woman was beat by her husband. Her husband's defense was that she did this to herself. That his wife had always been crazy. That she constantly punched the wall until her hands were broken. Then (get this) with her BROKEN HANDS she managed to take the toilet seat and slam it on her head! Then she slammed her face through a dry wall after that was all complete and he was caring and loving enough to take care of her while she was hurt. He didn't take her to the hospital, but just took care of her while she was in bed.
Oh yeah that's an airtight defense.
Here's how the judicial room went. An older man and two good ol' boys thought there was no fault in the man although they thought, "He should have taken her to the hospital." Another woman believed that the woman was a sinful drunk who did this to herself or at least partially and the man just got too angry after she did this and lost control.
This prompted a screaming match in which a bailiff had to tell them to calm down because they were being too loud.
The man got the minimum sentence which was a hefty fine and just 1 year in jail. Not prison, but jail. He got out for good behavior and attacked the woman again to the point where she now has to get plastic surgery to fix her face.
I felt the need to vent.
