Any GEOS employees here?

I was just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with GEOS. I recently (yesterday) got a job offer from them, and am deciding if I really want to put up with a year in Japan "teaching" English. Most of the info I find on blogs is more about NOVA, and also the forum would give me more opportunity to ask questions (and actually get a response). Thanks in advance for any information anyone has.

Geos has its good and bad points. My personal experiences of GEOS were a living hell, mostly due to a bitch of a manager (of course the one I had to deal with the longest. The other two managers I worked with were fine.). Had I been in a different school, things could have been completely different. There were also some issues with scheduling of classes and working hours and such, but a lot of the Geos regulations have changed since I left, so a lot of those things would no longer be problems.

I have two friends with GEOS in Gifu. They love it.

I believe that Rougue 7 is/was a GEOS teacher. Try looking up his posts (he did discuss some employment issues like apartments, etc.) or shooting him a PM. I met him in Osaka/Nara with Az's birthday bash last year and I'm sure he'll try to help you out.
