I love the monkey part, haha. Also, the swordfight between Sparrow and Jones looks really awesome. The movie looks great, and I hope it'll live up to the expectations I now have for it.

Ehh, I saw the second one in theaters and pretty much everyone LOVED it. Take it for what it is, an action-adventure-comedy blockbuster. It's not supposed to be deep or provoking and the story is only supposed to be mildly important in the end.

I saw it and squeed like a fangirl until I realized... There's no Norrington! TT_TT There's a rumor going around that he might be killed off, too. I hope not. I like Pirate!Norrington (or Scruffington, as he's called in fandom)! The poor guy lost his girl, his ship, his crew, his command, his respect, everything. (And gained fangirls like wild and became hawt, but that's another story.) I just hope he doesn't die. That would totally ruin it for me.

Anyone else eager to see Keith Richards? I just want to see the interaction between him and Jack / Johnny. That's going to be hilarious, y'know!

I'm seriously digging this. As long as they don't kill Scruffington and don't just shove Lizzie with Will unbelievably, then I think I'll love it. Otherwise, I'll just stick to the fandom, thank ye.

I'll be happy with this film as long as they don't pad it out just to make it longer than they needed too. There was a good half hour in the last one that was totally worthless. Good Movie, but far too much padding

I heard another rumor that the first cut of the movie (before fine editting and whatnot) was three hours. That'll probably be cut down to two hours, so it shouldn't be too long.

I wouldn't mind it if it was a little longer than that, because there's a lot of loose ends that need tying up. The love triangle, the heart, Davy Jones himself, Tia Dalma's role, what will happen to the Gibbs, Pintel, Ragetti, and the others, Jack's, Barbossa's, and Norrington's fates, Cutler's role, and what will happen to piracy itself. Plus, when you throw in Sao Feng and the other pirates, it's getting a bit crowded. You don't want to smoosh everything together too much, y'know?

I'm just excited to see it. :D

Just read on Wikipedia that Depp wants to do more Pirates films after this, and some people are pushing for at least a fourth film. The trilogy is designed to end in just that, though; three movies.
