Prince is amazing. That was the greatest halftime show ever and significantly better than the game thus far, which is saying alot because it's been quite entertaining (though sloppy).

Also, I just realized that if the Bears lose...it will 'cause my ex great sadness...so now I'm not sure who I want to win :P

COLTS FTMFW!!!!!! AHHHHHH YEH BABY SUPER BOWL CHAMPS! Everyone wanted 'da Bears.' What a game, I must say.
Yes, Peyton is MVP. However, it should have gone to Rhodes or Addai. The running game and Rhodes determination on some good plays should have put it on them. However, Manning is the QB, so...
haterllnation
02-05-2007, 03:43 AM
Agreed. I personally think Addai should've gotten it.
Personally, I say it should be shared between them. If not, I go with Rhodes, this time. He was pulling some heavy break plays when it counted. He also was getting some first down plays when anyone else would have stopped a yard short.
It was more amusing for me for this outcome (besides being a Colts fan) because I am surrounded by Bears fans (or Colts fans up until it came down to playing Bears). Even the Miami Stadium seemed to have outnumbered Colts, IMHO. Still a great game. Miami and their waterworks, almost thought I was at a water park. :gloomy:

For those who watched the Super Bowl commercials, which one stands out the most? I mean which company had the best commercials. I personaly like all the careerbuilder.com commercials. Chervolet had a lot of commercials but I didn't like some of theirs. Not to many good Super Bowl commercials this year.
I knew I should have bet on the Colts. To bad I didn't have money to bet.

None, actually. These kind of sucked. The most shocking (in the Oh my way), were the Chev commercial and Snickers. However, it didn't go big like previous years. The navigation system commercial was humorous, though.

I didn't watch the superbowl after the first half :gloomy:
I really could have cared less XD It wasn't the Pats, so it was no big deal for me.
I was actually kind of pissed at the pre-game show. It was... too fruity. I mean, it was interesting and all, and I get it, it's for the heritage of Florida but... for football it was kind of fruity. Didn't get me geared for the game. Even my friends mom was like "what, are they trying to be gay?"... I guess that would be funnier if you knew her, but nontheless, my point still stands :D
What was the score?
haterllnation
02-05-2007, 05:38 AM
For those outside the Google complex (or the band-wagon people who lost faith and gave up before the second half), the final score was 29-17.
Ha, yep. It wasn't the Pats.
About the Pre-Game: Yeh, you had to know her. I didn't, so I basically ignored it. It seemed geared more toward those who actually can afford season tickets and Super Bowl tickets. Justin Timberlake? Who?
I forgot about Federline, too. It was funny AND sad. I see him having to actually do that. :X

You know the Bears' fans outnumbered the Colts' fans at that stadium. Hell, they outnumber them in general. The Bears have a much broader fanbase. We would, too, if the hypocritical Ravens fans weren't lame.
BTW, I found two commercials outside the Federline one I liked (but must have missed taking a piss).

And I didn't realize that the Bears had more fans at the stadium. I was working during the super bowl, so I didn't catch anything like that. (not even commericials:gloomy: )

Speaking of the snickers commercial, ITS BEEN PULLED OFF THE AIR AND NET!
http://money.cnn.com/2007/02/06/news/companies/snickers/index.htm?cnn=yes
That's pretty absurd. They didnt make fun of gay people or promote anti-gay attitudes, they just showed two idiots who made a mistake and continued to act like idiots.
haterllnation
02-07-2007, 12:40 AM
In rebuttal, one could say that the fact that they were grossed out about kissing would promote anti-homosexual activity. They seemed repulsed at the fact and did whatever they could to "man up." This would be stating that Snickers does not promote this kind of activity and those who use their product don't want to be gay.
BTW, I didn't like the commercial and I don't even believe the above. I just felt that was an evident rebuttal. It didn't have to be pulled. That's how it is, though. It only takes a few upset people to get a ball rolling. OOOPS!

Wel, the canyon on the Toyota ad is CG. But it did stop on the track. I wonder how many times that took.
Oh, someone did the math - the Lexus ad is fake. The car would have to fall from over half a mile up, not a quarter mile.(doing a quarter mile in that time would require close to 1000HP).
