Well, in case you didnt know a week ago, that God Warrior chick is back on tv last week and this week.

This time, they've traded places with a black power enthusiast.

Unless you've watched the ep yourself last week or this weeks "thrilling" conclusion, the only way I can really sum this adventure up is trying to show both sides are equally ignorant.

In reality though, I cant accept that and in all honesty they're equally ignorant from watching what what they're showing.

It doesnt surprise me that the God Warrior chick is being just a tad bit ignorant (:bored: ), but her husband showed real ignorance to the exchange mother since the pick up ride!

The majority of the conversation shown was him listing every famous black person hes ever met, one after the other. The exchange mother, was left speechless (I dont blame her, he was being really stupid).

Amazingly, the God Warrior chick was NOT the instigator this time when she arrived. Albeit, the black power enthusiast does say a few facts that make sense (I'd say one out of 3 of what he's spewing is true, the rest sounds particularly racist. But then again, if I don't live it, I can't understand it).

One crazy line from what Abasi (black power enthusiast) said was:

"I dont like it when white people try to take away black music. That's just another thing white people try to take away from us."

Most offensive line from what I've seen so far on the ep was STILL the God Warrior so far though:

Abasi: "I don't think you could live a WEEK being black, I honestly think you'd kill yourself."
God Warrior: "That AINT true, I'd be hip hoppin all over the place and eating gizzards."

 Seriously, I hate fox for doing this.

I'm hoping this doesnt make people promote more racism :gloomy:

Just watched a brunch between the God Warriors friends and the exchange wife (they're possibly as crazy as the God warrior herself).

Seriously, this whole experiment is just based on pure ignorance. I really, really hate fox now :gloomy:

And an update from tonights ep.

Honestly, the Abasi guy is really provoking the God Warrior.

In ep 1, it ended with him saying "You can come watch our tv show" (he conducts a public television show about the black community, however he openly admits he uses prejudice for the black man as its basis...take it as you will). He then goes on to say "We've never had a white person on the show or there during filming, and I don't want a white person there."

Tonights ep, the God Warrior (I really should learn her real name) simply asked if there was any butter, Abasi made it sound as if she was asking to be served.

She literally asked while standing up "Is there any butter?" And he automatically took it as a black-white thing. Abasi's mother even said he wasn't being a good host, he proceeded to mock the God Warrior.

She left his home, tried going to one of his neighbors homes just to escape for a moment to ask for comfort (they also were black, she didnt mind) and Abasi immediately comes outside and telling his neighbors "Just ignore her, she's having another episode. She hasn't had her medication yet, just ignore her."

The God Warrior was literally brought to tears and just asked to sit so she could cry and ask for a little kindness.

Now, I'm not going to try make the God warrior or her family out as if they're perfect (they're obviously not), but this is ridiculous.

There's obviously still a lot of racism in america, but there's also great evidence of reverse racism.

I dunno why, this whole arc just made me sad, not entertained. I'm happy the southern family went to go and help a family of Katrina victims rebuild their home, but the entire arc has promoted too much ignorance.

Sorry for triple posting, I'm just really dumbfounded by everything tonight :gloomy:

Just feel like I'd like to say I hate the term "reverse racism". It makes it sound like you're being racist back to someone who is racist themselves. Considering how it's used (racism towards white people), I really don't like that connotation.

Alright, I can respect that and I can try to call it just what it is, racism.

You're right, just because it happens to one person of a specific race doesnt make it anymore special than when it happens to someone else.

Yeah....this show is bad...so I'm watching something else..

Yeah "reverse racism" makes no sense. Racism is racism no matter the color of the perp or victim.
