Anyone else absolutely love this show? As much as I adore Spike, forget Buffy altogether. THIS is the show to watch.
And it certainly helps that the two leading men are hawt.

I feel bad because no one replied to you. Yep, I love this show. I torrent every episode as soon as it is available.
...Can't say that hawt guys are really my thing though.

It's an awesome show. Take every spooky thing you've ever heard of, every legend, every rumor, and give them all a dark spin. Then take two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, who are hunters. They track these things down and take care of them, whether it's salting and burning a ghost's bones or using a sawed-off shotgun full of rock salt to ward boogieman away. Give them a sweet '67 Chevy Impala (affectionately known as the Metallicar) with a trunk full of weaponry, a dash full of fake IDs, and more classic rock than a late night radio station, and you've got Supernatural in a nutshell.
It's a really awesome show. Sure, I'll joke that I only watch it for the guys, but that's a lie. The storylines are AWESOME. If you're into spooky shit, this is definitely the show to watch.

Sidenote: Can anyone else name the number one pairing in fanfiction for the show? Muahaha.

In other news I was already kind of into the show and downloading the first season in Japan each week as it came out. Then I got the Bloody Mary episode and I was stoked that they said they were going to Fort Wayne, IN! (My city)
... I was all bummed out that they showed it as a farm town which isn't even true.

I've seen some of it on and off. It didn't look that great, but I would give it a second chance if I had cable or internet at home.

It's amazing what's acceptable in fandoms, isn't it?
Yes, well, Fort Wayne is also where Frank Burns was from, too. Maybe Hollywood doesn't like the city?
I think besides location constraints, maybe they're just dropping town names to make it easier for people to figure out where they are supposed to be. Trust me, if they ever came to Needmore, PA, no one would have a clue what they're talking about; if they said Harrisburg, PA, then most people would know, even though Harrisburg is a good two plus hours away. *shrugs*
And I don't know if this is true for all cities, but doesn't the name extend beyond the city limits into the suburbs? The only city I'm familiar with is Hagerstown, MD, and it's a fairly short jaunt of going from where all the major stores and mall are to huge tracts of farmland. I'm talking under twenty minutes here, too, and that's all considered Hagerstown. So... Perhaps they didn't mean the city of Fort Wayne as much as the area of it?
Unlikely, I know, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Plus how many Hollywood folks have actually been there? They probably looked up the population, saw it was less than one million people, and immediately start picturing a backwater country town. *shrugs*

Downloaded and watching the latest episode right now and I just had to pause like 10 or 15 minutes in to make this post.
This one is HILARIOUS! I don't even care that it seems like filler.
Gay Sam and face-stuffing Dean are a riot!
