Crime Deterents.

Lately since ive began driving ive been getting many a lecture on the law, and one main one is drink driving, i thought to myself "I wont drink drive" and although this may not turn out true, though i do not drink alot any more because drinking just looses its fun after a year or two of partying with mates and now im in the serious years of high school.

I thought though i would bring you this video starring Mark "Chopper" Read, watch and please dont drink drive.

Why have i posted this?

I was watching the news and i saw a report on a man who killed 2 children from drink driving and it just made me feel god aweful.


Another one i was wondering about was beating women, the lowest act barr one or two, and it thought this video would send a message to those who do that low down activity.

Once again a news report is what made me post this, i just thought it was horrible that a man beat his wife to death over something a trivial as who forgot their anniversary.

I don't see beating women any different from beating scrawny guys. It's sexism to say that beating women would be any worse than beating a starving ethiopian, for example.

I believe you mean "Its Sexist to say" BUT that aside.

Beating a women regardless of sexism and equal rights yada yada is still a low down activity, this isnt aimed at normal guys, its aimed at those big thugs who beat their wives and girlfriends who obviously are much weaker and less well off then them. A guy beating the shit out of another guy regardless of he be scrawny or not is still a crime yes, its just worse when the person that man has beat on is a women.

But im assuming you attitude means if a girl insulted you like a man would to apoint of you punching the male in the face you would take no restrain in punching the woman?

Unfortunatly equal sex rights never work out, women will bitch if a woman if beat up regardless of if the woman that is bitching is pro-equal sex rights or not, and guys will look at it as a low down activity. The world will never be completely equal with gender rights just like it will never be racism free.

I wouldn't punch a guy either, I view that as a low down behavior as well. But assuming that the insult was something that would make be punch/slap a guy with glasses, I don't see why it being a girl would stop my rage fueled rampage that made me lose all control over myself. I would punch the half-latino/half-black wheelchair bound blind orphan infant woman president of USA if I lose my self control.

That's because I don't think it's right to punch anyone over insults like some lowbrow cavemen do.

Actually, this is a good example why I don't take any "You don't hit women, but it's okay to beat a guy over an insult"-dudes seriously. Guys like that have poor impulse control and will have bigger chance of "bashing women" than those who don't bash even guys over insults. Infact, Chopper bashed that girl in the movie about him, right? And he has the balls to say that in jail guys who bash women will be in danger? He looked totally not beaten and not killed to me in the ad...

Apart from the fact he has been stabbed with an icepick, is missing both ears and has been sliced with a throat razor....but that aside he hasnt been hurt...

The movie was a dramatisation of incidents with Chopper, the story itself is only loosely true, he may or may not actually have hit a women, you cannot say 100% without a doubt that he did. Also it was Eric Banna who played him in the movie.

Chopper himself is very well respected in the community of Australia because of his active rolls in helping youth, and trying to warn others about committing crimes. I would prefer you not to scorn a man who does what he can to show people the error of his ways and how they shouldnt repeat them.

Did you watch the drunk driving ad though where he tells you the injuries he has sustained in Jail?

So far you jumped into the Lebanese Violent Rising thread without any knowledge about the incidents and claimed that we must have done something to provoke riots by them.

Now you come here bashing Chopper Read and basically from what i can tell your saying your better then me, with my opinions of hitting women, although i can respect your view point of the beating of women i would find it refreshing if you did so the same to me instead of trying to act like my thoughts are wrong. Anyway I'm so sorry if I bashed your hero, but any violent criminal talking like that deserves some negative feedback.
His views about womenbeaters/ rapers/pedos are typical to most of inmates and criminals as it helps them in raising their selfesteem. "I might have killed 5 guys and crippled 20, but at least I didn't slap my wife!". Finland has jails full of murderers and torturers thinkngn that at least they aren't wifebeaters.

And please don't mix that lebanese stuff into this thread too, I have enough trouble correcting your untrue claims about what I wrote in this thread already.

At no time did i say i think beating up people is right, not in this thread, not in the other did i say i condone the violence that has happened. I have been on the recieiving end of many bashings and i wouldnt want it to happen to others.

My morals in no way involve murder, rape, beating as an acceptable act and i never said that any of them are

on that note since you seem to just want to make this thread move away from the topic.
