Multiple hip-hop gossip websites are reporting that rapper The Game is “wanting to fight Triple H” over the rights to his name. The Game claims he began using the name first; however Triple H has used it since the summer of 1999.

Hmmm i dont mean to sound one sided, but ummm The Game would be taken to school by the HHH, just because wrestler is carographed doesnt mean those mucsles are aswell. (Note HHH is in the gym for about 4 hours every day.) The Game is acting tought 24/7

The Game is a alright rapper. Not the best, nor the worse. Anyways, I'm not a wrestling fan. But I do know who Triple H is; though I've never heard anyone call him "The Game" when they mention Triple H.
I would like to know how long has The Game been a rapper. I mean when did he release his first single. Did he release any underground stuff before '99? If so, then he does own the right to the name, I guess.
Rest In Peace Eazy E!!

I want to see Triple H use a sledge hammer against The Game.
... wouldn't be surprised if a drive-by shooting go after Triple H.
... wouldn't be sorry if he ducks, and the shooters accidentally get The Game instead.

Probably just a publicity stunt. The rap world and the wrestling world are both as fake and campy as it gets. Put them together and things like this don't even seem odd.

Nah The Game (Rapper) has actually started to file lawsuits and such, the whole arguement about the name has been going for a while now. Also The Game has made threats before to HHH and vice versa, but HHH would come out on top with a company like WWE backing him (He is married to the daughter of the Chairman and CEO of the company aswell as the owner).

According to Wikipedia the game has been a active rapper (meaning first song heard) was 2002, and first single was 2004.
Also wikipedia refers to HHH as also nicknamed The Game. His intro done by Motorhead aswell and the song is also labelled "The Game" so obviously if all the facts are true, HHH as power over it.
This isnt the first time wrestlers have sued or vice versa, Dean Roll (aka Sharkboy) sued miramax for the name Shark Boy which he had registered and copyrighted for entertainment purposes, so that was settled outside of court.

Didn't the WWE used to be the WWF until some little organization claimed to have used the acronym first and sued?

Yes, the World Wildlife Federation or some such. Hmm, Triple H can comfortably spread his arms past the front of a Hummer. Seems like it will take a bear hug for this guy to realize the error of his ways (unless he is a terrible scrapper). I don't get lawsuits of this nature. It's publicity and that's all I get. I mean, I didn't even KNOW about the rapper until this was posted (which means the information had to be out there to make it a thread). Isn't 2002 a little late to be on the offensive of a lawsuit?

World WildLife Federation did sue, they just claimed they had rights to the name and demanded any wrong money that the WWE would have recieved (Even though its hard to mistake a wrestler for a panda.....) and then to pay royalities or some such, so then WWE were choosing to go to court about it, but didnt and just created a ad campeign and changed there name, or atleast thats what i heard, and i cant be bothered to check Wikipedia (Im tired....ever so tired)
