These sorta campaigns really REALLY piss me off simply because the people that run them are blind to their own fuck-ups. For example, during the video, that wanker made a link to 9/11, then comes out with 'what do you think happens when a 9 year old boy, sits down, and plays a first person shooter, that rewards him for killing cops.'

Anything like this really gets me, not only because there are already certificates for games now, but also because they think EVERY child will turn out to be some sort of blood thirsty maniac.

Not only that, but if you wanna ban violent video games, you may as well stop the production of violent movies, or sports like boxing. In the end you'll probably end up cutting out everything thats remotely entertaining. Its like running into a warzone and telling people, 'Stop fighting pl0z.'

As videogames have become more popular in America in recent years, overall violent crime by the target age group of videogames, 18-34, has gone down. Take THAT, Lieberman.

Everyone is too busy sitting in front of their computer or console to go out and get into trouble. :D GG lazy USA, my home sweet home. "Man... i'm hungry." "So go get something to eat." "Hey now... i'm not -that- hungry. You expect me to get up from my seat?"

Yeh, they leave out the fact that the one of the two kids in Columbine had numbed the use of the prefrontal cortex (judgment area) due to constant caffeine (which combined with the medicine he was taking to stay calm and think things through). Also, it's funny how media types want to blame shift, but what do people see on the news every night. I can't go one night without some act of violence hitting the news. That's what they thrive on. God forbid games alone are causing this outcry through child violence. I would relate gaming closer to child obesity than violence carried out by a child.

A perspective. NSFW(Includes mild cussing)
