I seem to remember him staging a theatrical heart attack at practically every show he did after a while. I bet they weren't even sure if it was for real this time.
Still. Sad. And stuff.

My television turns on automatically, so I woke up to some anchorwoman saying that. I grew up listening to his music because of my father...
Rest in Peace

He was unique. He brought the races together through music. I enjoyed listening to his records. I never saw him in person but my two sons, Redbeard and Anders did at Milwaukee's Summerfest. James Brown captivated every audience and did so with my sons.
We were lucky to have him with us for 73 years. So many rock superstars die much younger. His music and film clips will live on... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YV31dx_UW9k

Get on the scene! (Get on up)
Like a Living Machine (Get on up)
(I'm very upset that my work blocks the lyrics to sex machine)

Mr. Dynamite. The Godfather of Soul. He will be greatly missed. James Brown influenced so many, dare say there wouldn't be Rap music without James Brown. No Prince or Michael Jackson without the influence of James Brown, and by that no Justin's or Usher's. The hardest working man is showbusiness is in that good place now. R.I.P!

So, if I go back in time and kill him, I get a cookie?
