What exactly does this mean?
The '8va' thingy?
First time I've come across it.

Judging from the song (Used to learn by ear etc etc), I have a feeling it has something about going up and octave for the specific section, but I aint too sure.

Confirmage?

Yes, it means play it one octave higher than written. At some point, counting the lines becomes near impossible right? hehe

Is that a duet? Because otherwise it looks like you would run out of fingers!

No it isnt.. At that stage in the song, Im playing the left hand with the right hand notes (+1 octave).
