So I just finished 1st course, ended with adjectives, bu I think the 2 month vacation is going to really eff whatever I learned, si I wanted to ask, how do I get to practice it a bit. There are no many nihonjins where I live so what do you think? Even if I don't practice my speech (My first language is Spanish, so Japanese pronunciaton isn't difficult at all)...
any help?

I suppose you could just make flash cards of what you've learnt and blast through em everyday until you know em all perfectly. (the ones you already know at least). I know I flash card everything I learn each week and I always come ontop with 10/10 for my kanji tests and my essay writings.
The best way is just to write loads of sentences using different なーけいようし and いーけいようし etc.
As for practicing, I'm sure you're more than welcome to ask any questions here to help both preserve your knowledge and even expand on it. As for me, in the summer I'll be doing some handy work in Japan for a month or two just to keep my language ability going.

<snip>... and I always come ontop with 10/10 for my kanji tests and my essay writings.
speaking of tests and quizes... you know what would be really helpful / awesome.
If someone made an online database of their japanese quizes and tests.
I know i need practice, but I'd also like tests and benchmarks for a better idea of my level... and reinforcement on what i've forgotten.
So Vic.... ya got a scanner? :bwitch:
Try speaking to yourself in Japanese. Try speaking to your dog or cat. Try teaching someone to speak Japanese.

Maybe take up a Japanese martial art over the summer? And you can always find an iChat, Skype or AIM buddy to keep it fresh. Though I have to say Crowley is made of WIN as always!

There's a bunch of japanese tests and such linked from here:

Doesn't seem to be updated any more though.

I think I'd have to ask my teacher first!

I could scan a bunch of tests and quizes with the wrong answers on them!

that would still be completely fine with me, i'd try and ignore the question and clear out the answer fields before taking it myself. =P

If Crowley were a character from any TV show, he'd be Arie from Entourage.
