I watch alot of foreign films, but by far my favorite overseas director is Japanese goremaster Takashi Miike. His most noteable fims are "Audition","Ichi the Killer", and "The Happiness of the Katakuris", all of which are superbly entertaining and well worth the time invested watching them. Of course he has directed many other crazy, insane, but oh-so-awsome films, but most of them are pretty obscure. Anyway, I was wondering if there are any other fans of his work on this forum? And for those of you currently living in Japan, Is Takashi Miike a famous director or does he fall into some independent cult status?
