I got my nose peirced day before yesterday...

And my friend beat the crap out of me with a pillow last night (damn him)...

And now it hurts like a bitch...

Anybody else have his/her nose peirced?

No, but my cousin was visiting America back in highschool and he got his ear pierce. He took a shower when we got back, and I headed out to run some errands. When he got out of the shower and was towel-drying his hair, his stud got caught in the towel threads and he yanked on it. The ball on the stud ended up getting pulled inside his ear, and before he could do anything, the skin began to seal back up.

When I got home, I found him with his ear bleeding, and he couldn't get the earring out. So, I got some ice and a sharp knife, sanitized it with alcohol and fire, made a little hole in his ear after numbing it up with the ice, and pulled it out :D

I've never gotten anything pierced, and, well, uh, I don't plan to. Lots of people keep telling me to do it, though, because apparently it's, "cool."

I don't think they are "cool" I think their cute. But I wouldn't get one, because of the fact that some piercings can cause scarring.

My brother has a lot of piercings. His nose happens to be one of them and man, he can tell you a ton of painful stories about getting that thing ripped out. But thats off topic, sort of.

Damn, I'd punch your friend in the arm. Just out of nowhere. If he asks why, just say because he is your good friend. He'll be none the wiser.

I don't think they're cool either... I just think its cute. Its so small too... I just kindof like peircings (tasteful ones) and I wanted to get peirced again and I couldn't think of another place...

If it's getting piercings we're talking about, I want to re-pierce my ear and get some fancy ring. :D

I want to get tattoos as well, not sure where yet. Chest and/or back, I know that much.

I can't even let somebody give me a tetnus (sp?) shot... 8 months ago, I had to get blood drawn and 2 nurses had to hold me down while I was crying...

Piercing needles are an entirely different sensation... almost erotic... plus you get a really cool look after its done... more than I can say for any booster shot.

Also, what work are you thinking about getting? So far I'm thinking about getting my chest, back, shoulders, and calves covered (perhaps something of interest on the backside of my right hand also). But then again I have a lot of saving up to do before I'll be able to afford even the tiniest of all that.

The guy who does my peircings and who did my tattoo is so frickin hot... I can't even physically explain it...

Kinda made me feel weird when all I could think about is how freakishly sexy he was.........
And he had a metal tube in my nose and a needle in his hand.

Well it's not exactly every where, I mean there's still my lower back, rear, thighes, forearms, abs, pelvis, feet, and left hand, oh yeah and my neck and skull.

Well with all things there are problems... these new boards for example... blow ass. But because of some feature I have yet to hear of that seriously makes this piece of shit better we'll have to deal as that unmentioned feature is what supposedly makes dealing with odd shit like this "ok".

I'll start posting more random shit once I've had a little more to drink.

Jay- It's not *that* far. And it would be a nice educational trip for you!

bmezine (http://bmezine.com) has a lot of helpful advice about new piercings and tattoos, and it's strongly recommended there, and also by my piercers, to use salt-water soaks to help heal new piercings. The salt water neutralizes the new piercings, or something. Using neosporin is supposed to be bad, because it blocks out air and doesn't let it heal as properly. Or something.

Ha! I was the one that brought that up about the ice cube. ;) Jay agreed with me that it was a good technique and one that he'd utilized. But anyway, proceed with the demonstration Jay. :p
