I'm watching it right now (I own the DVD.) I love this movie. It's definitely one of my favorites of all time.

I really love the music-- Danny Elfman is awesome! "Because I am Jack, the Pumpkin King!" I think my favorite song is "Kidnap the Sandy Claws"-- Lock, Shock, and Barrell are hilarious.

The DVD also came with Vincent, which I also love. :)

I was at the Imax the other night, hoping to to see The Nightmare Befor X-Mas in 3d, but NooOooOo, they didn't have it. Jersey sucks.

Did any one see it in 3d yet?

I remember my family renting it when it was newer, but I had refused to watch it because I was convinced it would be scary. XD

I watched it for my first time a few weeks ago. I love it.

I just saw the 3D on Friday- I was surprised that the 3D was on for the entire film rather than for certain scenes only, which is what they did with Superman and most of the 3D films released so far. While it was cool, watching it for more than 30 minutes made my eyes hurt.

Nightmare Before Christmas is definitely a movie to be seen in theaters though.

I want to see the 3D version so bad, but the 3D theaters aren't near enough to me. I love that movie. Which is why I have Ducky with me over here
<---------------

I saw the Myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/nightmare3D) for the movie and tried listening to the soundtrack. They have remakes of the songs by Fallout Boy and stuff :P It's hilarious. I can't even recognize "Kidnap the Sandy Claws".

ugh! I want to so badly see it in 3D. My eyes sucks though, so it would probably be too hard for my eyes to watch it for so long.

I love the movie and its soundtrack. I was so happy that it was part of the game KH too (which I love and play only for the Disney factor).

Now I am going to listen to some of the songs.

It's okay on the eyes, though after 20-30 minutes, your eyes get tired. It looks great on 3D though- I don't know exactly how they did it, but it's not the cheap red/blue 3D trick, much more subtle, yet makes every detail pop out. You can literally see fingerprints on those clay figures.

Oh yeah, there is no way you could watch the movie without glasses though, because they were quite blurry. And it's not gonna look half as good on TV if they do come out with a DVD.

So go watch it in theaters while you can! :P

I listened to four of the remakes..
Wow.
1)Fiona Apple-Sally's Song.
That was decent, haha. It wasn't that bad, actually.
2)Marilyn Manson-This is Halloween.
I still hate him, but at least his still sounded like the real song.
3)Fallout Boy-What's This?
Wow. Crap.
4)She Wants Revenge-Kidnap the Sandy Claws
How the hell did this even make it to a CD? For fuck's sake. Shoot the singer. Seriously. He destroyed it. He took it, tied it down, ripped off its breast, then raped it until its eyes came off.

I don't remember seeing this movie, but I think I have.
Joey says I should watch it with my daughter, but she gets scared pretty easily, so I wanted to ask, if you guys that have seen think it would be ok for a 4 year old to watch?

It's not really scary. Some of it COULD be, kind of, but you learn to like most of the characters :D
That’s our job, but we’re not mean
In our town of Halloween
:P The job of the citizens of Halloweentown is to scare people :D not hurt them.

Well I always thought Sally's limb-detachment was really cool. I wanted to be able to do that XD

Anyway, I always liked Boogie's Boys. Though they should get called Boogie's Boys + a Girl technically :P They're cool in a psychotic-little-brats way.
