Actually, that thumb-in-fist gesture has been around for quite sometime already in general Asia, i think. I remember Stepthen Chow (from Miramax's "Shaolin Soccer") back when he was a rising star in HongKong Comedy movies, used that towards some guy (to the main villain, i guess). Me thinks he was just calling him a d1ck.
However, it is my first time hearing ppl use it in a thrusting manner. Maybe its just that i don't hang about tht often to find out the altternate versions of this hand gesture.
