Your honor, I wish to erect my new point; "Girls don't like boys, girls like cars and money".

If Jack Thompson is going to ruin games, I will make sure all games will have an even chance to get ruined so that they don't feel left out.

"Sometimes I let my characters die," a young Bethany says cheerfully. "Especially the pregnant women, because their hygiene and hunger needs are extra high and it's difficult to look after them with other people in the house."

I used to lock the kids/pets/adults I didnt want in a room by removing the door and letting them starve to death... getting them to go into the pool and taking the ladder away...the new way of getting rid of them on sims 2 is by feeding them to a man eating plant....it lures them with cake. If the house is dirty and they get sick with flu - you can let them die. There are non-violent ways to get rid of characters, but they take longer. Killing them off is quicker and more efficient.:gangster:

It doesnt necessarily mean that they are psychopathic.

There's always the time-honored way of locking children into a doorless room containing only sofas and lit fireplaces.

Wow.

And it's those types of girls that I like having that distance from, where I only interact with them via a keyboard and computer screen.

Was this article written by a 14 year-old?

The Sims? Pffft. When I was in elementary school, starving your family in Oregon Trail was the "in" thing to do.

That, and finding new and creative ways to eliminate all those unnecessary lemmings. :bwitch:

Eh. I killed tons of farm animals in Harvest Moon by accident, but that's because I pretty much am only good at games that don't include showing caring and compassion about keeping something alive.

Those Giga-pets that all of the 'cool' girls had in middle-school? I absolutely starved, neglected, and eventually killed any of the ones I had.

Though I think this is pretty rare in females, and I'm sure most girls would chose playing Harvest Moon over, say, Rise of Nations, where it's fun to send out one lone solider just to see him get slaughtered by your friend's army.

Whenever my Sim kids would get sent off to Military camp I would lock them in a small, quickly thrown together house containing everything they needed to survive just to keep them living in my domain. Somehow they still always died in there.

Yes, me.

On a delayed note, back in my day, we used to kill our travelers in Oregon Trail.

You could attempt to Fjord the river, which would result in supplies being lost Oxen drown, or you could simply not stock food and let your characters die of polio or pneumonia.

Now-a-days kids have the pokemon and the poke and the mon and the blah blah.

Cholera-stricken travelers amused me in Oregon Trail. Especially since my friends and I named the travelers after each other.

You monster. And trapping them all between two wall lemmings and then make one into a bomb FTW. ^_^ Look at all the flying pixels!

...yeah.

I used to think The Sims was for seeing how long they could survive for...

Then I found out you could kill them with rockets/fireworks. :)

Becoming a rockstar and then having a garden full of previous wives was fun. Good times.

Strange that I didn't want to kill the cow on my Harvest Moon game though.

 All the girls in my family play sims. The other day my little sister (9) was complaining about how she adopted a kid but he was ugly. So I showed her how you can kill them off. XD You can drown them, burn them, have them taken away by socal services. My favorite is being eaten by flies. It's the hardest.

She thought this was awsome. Now she kills off everybody she gets tired of taking care of.

Talking of sims, I'm looking forward of the new one coming out. Sims Pets!!!

You can drown them

Removing the ladder from the pool after people were already in it is rather fun. XD

...At least they die with washboard abs.

No worries. I keep flowers watered everyday by their graves. I hate doing it sometimes but too many people are hahrd to keep track of. You can play with up to 8 people at once! How does anybody handle it?! I can't keep more then one or two. :P

At one point i had managed eight sims. then the t.v. broke. While one sim was trying to fix it, upstairs a fire broke out in the kitchen; the other seven ran up to fight it, setting ablaze five more of my sims. Back downstairs the other sim had electorcuted himself on the t.v. By the end of the hour, two living, six dead and still a broken t.v. Thats when i had a sim try to fix it....

I made a memorial, a flaming t.v. with sims running in fear.

...well if i had skill to make it, it would look awesome. and be on fire.
which would mean someone would have to put it out....
the cycle continues.
