I'm not entirely sure how it happened, but I became .hack's bitch.
My very first manga was .hack//legend of the twilight. Not the first I witnessed, just the first I bought for myself. Even though there were only three books, it's taken me years to actually find and purchase all of them. I actually spent time hunting them down, and just when I gave up, I found the last book I needed in the local B&N.
Then came the anime. The anime .hack//sign I had seen before the manga (which are completely unrelated) and became slightly obsessed with it for a time. I've even gone so far as buy the first ten episodes on DVD.
The video games? Got the first two, hunting the last two. Pain in my arse. Heck, there was even a novel for .hack. And I bought it. I have no free will on this anymore it seems.
Why is it that I become interested in .hack? None of my other anime friends seem to enjoy it, or even slightly show any interest in it. Am I just a freak or something?
