All right, I couldn't think of more than 4 choices: Street Fighter (best), Mortal Kombat (3rd), King of Fighters (4th), and Killer Instinct (2nd).

So, choose fools. :D

Always had more fun with Street Fighter. Cool music, too.

Dude, your post is at 9:18, mine was at 8:19 :O weird.

Anyway.... Street Fighter will own over every game for me. When I think fighting games, the first things that come to mind are Chun-Li and Hadouken!

It was my favorite fighting game for the SNES. King of Fighters was cool, I just had a better connection with SF. Killer Instinct and Mortal Kombat... eh fun but no.

Street Fighter and Super Mario World, were my first video games ever. I just remember my brother getting an SNES and letting me PRETEND I was playing, and I thought I was.

Street Fighter only just beats out Mortal Kombat for my vote.

Street Fighter
King of Fighters
Mortal Kombat
Killer Instinct

I had all of them, and more. Still have my copy of Street Fighter 2.

Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers. It's a testament to how awesome that game is that I STILL play it when other games have me bored...

super mario rpg.

oh wait oops. ummm

obvoisly street fighter is going to be the winner. but I think SF was too simple and mortal kombat 3 really pushed the hardware alot better.

MK had more moves and gore. SF had a better engine, better graphics(digitized graphics look stupid as shit), was more responsive, better balanced, etc.

Myself, at maybe 10ish, on the release of Super Street Figher:

"BRUCE LEE!".

Wait wait wait.

King of Fighters was never on the SNES. Unless you're referring to Fatal Fury 1.

I thought Fatal Fury was the same thing as KOF....

No. Not even close.

They're fighters made by SNK, and the FF characters show up in KoF, but honestly that's where the similarities end.
