If I do get a PSP I'll wait till the 15th and get Burnout Legends with it. That game looks amazing.

I guess I just want to play games. If I were to buy a laptop it'd be so I could make reports at school on my laptop rather than having to write it by hand and typing it over at home.

If I were to get a PSP, should I get Wipeout Pure or wait for Burnout Legends? Both look ace to me.

Get the PSP. I'll be getting either a PSP or DS soon. PSP kicks several hundred times more ass, but the one PSP/DS game that I want the most is for DS only. Fuck you, Nintendo. The new Lunar game should be on PSP. :(

But yeah, again, get the PSP.

Quit wasting your money on electronics that are designed to be obsolete within the space of a few months. Save up for something more worthwhile.

Basically I'm a bit of an idiot. I had already made up my mind about buying a PSP, but I just needed you guys to reinforce my decision.

What exactly brought about this conclusion? The only existing handheld that could even come close to comparing to PSP or DS is the GB. Each GB version lasted for several years. The DS and PSP are in a whole new league. They might last even longer, and I doubt it will be less than four years before we see a PSP2 or DS Evolution Revolution Super whatever the fuck random name Nintendo gives it.

PSP 4 the win.

PlayStations aren't obsolete. They bring out new versions every few years. Correct? Same will likely hold true for the PSP.
