plastic surgery: nosejob, eyelid surgery, maybe work on her lips as well, breast implants

Even in those pictures of her w/o photo enhancements, she still clearly has a lot of makeup. Plus good lighting.

And w/ further enhancements:
a ton of makeup
photoshopping and digital airbrushing
a hair stylist
proper lighting

Voila...you get an idol accompanied by drooling fanboys willing to buy her photobook.

She was probably decently cute to start with though. She just needed the magic of Asian cosmetics to fully transform her.

What the heck is a handsome woman?

Women that don't fit in either cute or beautiful, but aren't as butt ugly as Macha Macha (or the likes of almost any japanese female wrestler), and aren't downright butch. They're elegant and somehow more masculine, but they don't fit in the "big ugly dyke" category.

Stronger face features, less giggle-giggle, deeper voices... think an otokoyaku performer from Takarazuka, or for a more plastic example (and a closer one to Takahashi), Hitomi Yoshizawa in her good days.

Back on topic, why like Takahashi for her looks when you can like her because she's hardly a dumb idol? Give me a cultured young girl like her any day! :watson:
