Epimenides was a Cretan who made one immortal statement: "All Cretans are liars."

Did Epimenides speak the truth?

Is the word "heterological", meaning "not applicable to itself," a heterological word?

This sentence is false.

So is it false or not?

This one's dead simple - you've succeeded in failing.

But if you're goal was to fail, and you did, than you didn't achieve your goal, because you suceeded when you wanted to fail.

But if your goal was to fail, and you did, then you've still acheived your goal.

based on evolution has to be the egg, because what produced the egg was not a chicken.

The egg as a gestation device was around long before birds.

Ergo, Egg was first.

Yes, but at a view to the chicken and the egg, which was first?

I believe the chicken mutated from some other form that allows it to do what it does today. I'm a believer in evolution and not God or the Universe or some other claptrap bullshit.

Then you would know that the chicken did not just appear.

That gradually, over the span of thousands/millions of years, chnages occured on an existing egg laying species that eventually led it to become what we now know as a chicken. A chicken did not just appear or mutate. Their would have been 1000's of intermediate forms and failed evolutionary dead ends. Althought current and accepted theory agrees that the chicken ultimately descends from an egg laying animal.

Egg wins.

chnages occured on an existing egg laying species

That one just explains itself.

The animal-that-eventually-evolved-into-a-chicken-but-kept-its-egg-laying-powahs came first.
