English is SVO, Japanese is SOV. Sorta.

I don't know if I even want to try. I'd rather keep the two separate than confuse them in my head.

It would be nearly impossible to speak with Japanese word order in English, because Japanese tends to ignore the subject, not to mention that the sentences would be nearly incomprehensible in English because the adjectives would be incorrectly modifying non-modified objects and whatnot.

And your first post is entirely off target.

And that's just rough. There is no way to actually do this because of the fundamental differences in conjugation rules, particles, and the lack of direct translations for so much of Japanese. Not to mention that there's no way to pick just one way to do Japanese word order. Do you mean by sentence, by clause, by what?

It's a pretty bad idea, and it sure as fuck isn't easy.

well, some of the things are correct. Yeah there's mistakes but it still followed some basic things.

Jesus Christ kokujin -- there are plenty of threads with DIRECTED silliness, whereas you really just created a thread which you state has a 'point' to it as things go, yet what you write in regards to that 'point' have nothing to do with the 'point.'

You can talk like Yoda in any thread you please, you don't have to make a new one for it. And if you do make a new thread, call it the 'talking like Yoda' thread if you're just going to ignore the fact that it has NOTHING to do with actually using Japanese grammar in any fashion.
