It's so much cheaper, and then you aren't wearing the same things as everyone else. Of course, regular kid-length jeans become capris, but it's all good. And my philosophy on shirts is, "No Shirt is Too Small". I own a few kids size small t-shirts, they make it look like I actually have boobs! Hurrah.

It is when you can't actually -fit- it over your chest, then it's definitely too small, unless you want to wear it around your neck. I could wear kids clothing until I was about 16 or 17, including pants because I'm short. I can still wear some kids shoes, but definitely not shirts anymore, sometimes I can find a kid's XXL shirt that will fit, but yeah I don't really want to wear my shirts around my neck.

Well I say I'll have trouble finding shoes in japan (should my plans ever pan out) is because I have trouble finding shoes that fit HERE. Most shoes don't get as wide as I need them, and the trouble is that wide enough shoes are REALLY expensive.

Theres actually a sepcialist store that opened up here. A wide shoe store. It's great, really great, but it doesn't do anything about the price of wide shoes.

I hate having a size 14 foot. It sucks. For some dumb reason even people like Michael Jordan make shoes in size 14 that are for people with feet that are now more than 3 inches across. What they hell do they do? Topple over all the time. Nobody in their right mind that has to wear a size 14 shoe has a skinny foot. You have that big of a foot to support your tall self and NOT fall over. If they would just make shoes in like 4E or 6E wide like they are supposed to be then life would be beautiful. Yes, I have been to special stores and usually have to end up dropping a bill on a pair of shoes that will really fit. I love buying shoes cuz I don't have that many but hate asking for them when I know the answer is "we don't carry that size". Anyway, thanks for listening to my rant.

I'm about a 7 in length but an 8 in width, so I usually compromise with a 7.5. Some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had are a pair of Youth size 6 Nike's from the boys' rack. It seems wide toes are juvenile.
And I have the same problem as Shannon--wearing the most popular size makes it difficult to find good shoes on sale, though at least it does guarantee they always make my size.
