Oh my god, I hope the robots aren't connected to a central network? :D
Nice stuff!
Hi, I've been lurking here. And, I'm sorry, but I had to do it.

the guy resembles micheal jackson on the left picture which made me mistake him as the robot. That's pretty cool.

God, just look at how big of a concept change there has been over the past years.
Back a couple decades ago, a robot would be viewed as a big clanky metal machine, and now it's more of a human, but not really human.
I just hope they don't get to far into robots, imagine if robots could feel, and you live your life thinking you're human, but find out you were a robot. I'd feel sorry for that robot. Man, my sadness chip has been turned on :(

I haven't seen Blade Runner either, but I have seen Ghost in the Shell. From what I've heard, they're comparatively not that far apart in ideals.
Anyway, there were a couple of topics on this subject back on the old boards. One topic included a video short of a robotic soldier or SWAT unit. It was CG of course, but it was CG done in such a way I sometimes had difficulty telling it wasn't reality-- it looked very, very feasible. This female android has been around for at least two months now.
