Help with music language identification

Ok, this is driving me nuts. This link contains the wonderful song "Symphonic Poem 'Forbidden Prelude'" from Drag-On Dragoon 2. I have to know; what language are they singing in?? I love this song to death, it is definitely in my top 5 all-time VGM favorites, (and also in my top 10 overall favorites) but I can't even sing along to it, or even figure out what they're saying in the first place.

Somebody has to know. I can't find the lyrics anywhere.

If you hear choir stuff that invokes images of catholicism in music, divine retribution/salvation etc etc, specifically score format music - it's a safe bet to assume it's done in latin.

That's my guess, based on absolutely nothing because what is being said is pretty deep in the mix - again, like usual with choir stuff.
