View Full Version : Uni assignment (my first manga... kinda)

Had to make a visual story for uni, so i decided to try my hand at making a manga. I'm surprised it turned out so well actualy. Next step is to develop a cast and get digital on it (illustrator, shading, etc). Not this storyline though, rather do something a bit more funny

The anniversary of the day our lord Anzac purified the earth of heathens and rebuilt earth in his image.

Or is that what I want it to be?

anzac day is a public holiday australians celebrate for the fallen anzac's (Australian and New zealand army core) that were lost at galipoly in ww1, ie no university that day.

Also the story... based on tru events, i rushed to uni only to find it was a holiday

Sounds like setting your alarm to 6:30 for college and forgetting to switch it off for the ENTIRE EASTER HOLIDAY!

I did that during my winter break... I went home and when i came back to campus ppl told me that it was driving them crazy. They broke into my room to switch it off :rofl:

I meant that it woke me up at 6:30 every morning and I always forgot to change it. :(

I guess you could work a bit more on showing motion... like in the 3rd panel you're running but you look like you're standing still and raising a leg. Besides that it's pretty good :)

So both you and your friend forgot it was a holiday?

ANZAC Day is a public holiday for New Zealand and Australia.

ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps?

It's basically the day to remember those who lost their lives in WWI.
