Sock Full of Boiled Dimes

I usually don't feel like posting in the forums about my dating follys (anymore that is) but this was amusing enough.
So I'm sitting in my class talking to this girl, who has a boyfriend I'll point out, she is a good enough friend and we just joke around about a few things. So when class ends I'm walking out talking to her and she is met up by one of her cute friends. They start doing that women talk thing to the point where I start to feel ignored. I almost feel like walking away until I hear "I don't want to date him." from her friend who gives me a quick glance.
The girl I was with told her to "shh". I was dumb enough to go, "What?"
Then I get, "Oh, well Melissa here says we should go out on a date, but I don't like dating skinny lo...guys." (Oh yes she almost said 'losers')
I didn't need to hear this. I didn't even know the girl and as far as I was concerned I should of walked off and let the thing go. She was obviously the rudest person I just met. However, the "lo..." remark got to me and the obvious tone that she was saying it in. It was as if she didn't give a crap about other people's feelings.
So I stopped caring as well.
"Wow, she assumes I like dating stupid bitches which is obviously wrong."
Without skipping a beat she says, "Your right I am a bitch."
I immediatly say, "That's nothing to be proud about."
She attempts to say something, but I waved my hand at her and said "bye", but not before promptly giving her the middle finger. Didn't even know the girls name and I had to hear this. By the end of the day I get a call from the girl (Melissa) apolligizing me for her friend and explaining to me about how she is having troubles with her current boyfriend and is looking to date around and has with a few guys alread and that she wasn't even that good of a friend etc. etc. etc. I told her not to worry about thinking I wouldn't hear about it again.
I was wrong.
Next day whilst walking outside of the Technology building manage to see the girl with some dude out in the parking lot. Not only that but she manages to catch a glimpse of me. She looks up at him and starts to talk to him and I was thinking no good could come from this. So I decided to walk to my car.
Except my car was parked in their general direction.
So I get confronted by some guy who is no taller than me, but looking a lot stronger than me. I was gussing he was one of those hot head spikey haired guys who loves rap music and has a bad attitude.
I hate it when I'm right.
"I think we have a problem." He says.
"We do?" I want to choose my words carefully. I hate fighting and I hate getting the crap beat out of me.
"My girl tells me you were bad mouthing her."
"Yeah?"
"You call my girl a bitch again and I'll show you who's a bitch, okay? I will beat you down so fast that you'll be pissing blood for a week."
At this point I just want to get out of this and completely forget it happened. It wasn't my fault and I was dumbly dragged into a stupid situation with people who obviously haven't grown up yet. I could have nodded my head and say "Okay I'm a bitch" and walked off. The plain fact was that I was annoyed and didn't care of the outcome so I simply said:
"Well maybe if she wasn't one then I wouldn't have to called her one. Listen to me, I had the misfortune to meet with you and your grilfriend something I could of gone my whole life without doing. What you need to do is just step back and stop acting like you are the alpha male of the entire world. One thing though is that she obviously didn't tell you the truth and if you do hit me I will call the police faster than you can say 'jailtime' because that is what you will be doing. Oh and for someone being 'your girl' she obviously shouldn't be dating around with other guys to be 'your girl'."
The guy actually starts to laugh and apolligizes for everything. He jokes around a bit, but I don't laugh. He basically told me not to call the police and he'll have a talk with "his girl".
I'm tired and college is going to end soon.
