I am obsessed with MM and most things related to Hello Project(H!P). I have nearly 150 gigs of Hello Morning eps, Futarigoto, thousands of pictures, Mini-Moni, Utaban, the original Asayan show for MM and the list goes one. I have found that watching these shows are not only entertaining but you also catch some much needed, normal Japanese language usage. These shows have provided many hours of entertainment and I have acutally gained quite a bit in my listening skills from watching shows hours on end. I do have almost 500 songs that are by H!P members and have some of them memorized. Please share other Japanese groups or shows that have caught your attention and think others should check out. I'm looking to expand my collection.

Check out the group homemade kazoku, their album "rock the world" is really good. They did the 2nd ED to Bleach (Arigatou) but all their songs are really good. Also, Orange Range is good, but they're more of a Rap group, you've probably heard of them, they're pretty popular.

Anyway, I could keep going, but I won't, LOL.

home made kazoku is all righty. I like a few of their songs. I think "on the run" was a fave of mines for a week. if you do like rap pop style try rip slyme. Dragon Ash mixes rap and rock their older but I like some of there stuff. M-flo is very commercial but their so upbeat and their fun to listen to weather you like rap or not.

Thanks for the suggestions. Currently, I have been looking into some more underground rap groups and really really have this think for LISA(from M-flo). Her song "So Beautiful" is addictive like crack to me :)
I have also been looking into Miss Monday and a group called Color. I have noticed that most of the mainstream J-Pop stuff is easy to find, but finding the rest can be difficult. Also, for anyone who is really into just checking out some tracks from J-Artists, Korean or English, I highly recommend http://bugs.co.kr It's a sight that sells you music and is in Korean, but you can listen and make a playlist of all kinds of songs for free. Great for work and just checking out artists. You don't need to know Korean either. Just type in the name in the big white search box and click on the albums and little earphone symbol to listen(IE required).

I checked out HOMEMADE Kazoku. They are ok. It's good music for just chillin and kickin' it. Have you heard of XBS? They sound like old school American rap artists and are interesting to listen to.
