Is there an official name for these chicks? I was in one of the store malls today and they had a poster for something it had the word "GOLDEN" so I told my wife I need to take pics of the "GOLDEN" gurlz....

So I was taking my wife shopping and a lot of the stores had these "Golden Gurlz" helping her. The were really nice but they look like mannequins. Every time they said how she would look so beautiful in this and that I just bust out laughing. I cant even look them in the eyez without laughing. I am pretty sure they are nice and sweet and normal on the inside just not on the outside IMHO.

The girls you're talking about are Kogals. They hang out at Shibuya all day and do basically nothing except try to have fun. More or less like Valley Girls. They bronze their skin, often have eye surgery to make their eyes ridiculously large, and bleach their hair. They usually wear short schoolgirl skirts and loose socks.

Ganguro girls are SOOO 1995...their style originated as a rebellion against the traditional concepts of female beauty: pale skin, long dark hair. As a result, they tan their skin almost to becoming black and bleach their hair platinum blonde. And wear clown makeup. And dance para para.

Ganguro guys (for lack of a better word for them) seem to be pretty well off. I def saw one them driving a really nice Benz in the Shibuya club area. That's why they're often surrounded by golddigging kogals.

I would have to disagree. I dont think I ever saw a hot tannie. Something about the orange skin reminded me of an alien or one of those leather skined grannies (which you can be sure is how they will end up; providing they live thru the skin cancer of course).

I have 2 of them in my class, they slightly scare me.
