firefox question

I'm using the firefox browser, I cant seem to see any of the japanese characters that some of you guys are using in your postings. Anyone know how to make those show up in Firefox?

I think Windows XP has a install for western character fonts, or go Tools / Options / Langauges and see if you can't add it from a list or two there.

The odd thing is I have neither XP western font support, nor Firefox added languages, yet mine works fine.

Assuming you have done that and still see garbage:



Make sure your character encoding is set to Shift_JIS

View->Char Encoding->Japanese (Shift_JIS)
