"Johannesburg: The hunt is on for three women who ambushed a 30-year-old man and forced him to have sex with them at gunpoint."
Apparently, it does.
Yes, I registered for the sole purpose of sharing this story with you all. I hope it will make a smashing first post.

Wow. Why can't that sort of thing happen in America? And when I say America, I mean in my town. I hope they didn't have some sort of gross disease, which is why they have to force people to get it. That would be wrong. So wrong.

The women must've been rich 'n' ugly for him to complain. If I were in his position I would be going WTF for days before sense returned to me.

Well.....I say that lucky SOB. That is a first for me. Hearing about a man getting forced to have sex. If he didnt get shot in the process then he should be happy. Shit I know I would :D.

The entire thing is just surreal.
I thought some of you would find this pretty amusing, considering all the posts I've seen here recently (e.g. in the Catcalls thread) expressing desire for women to behave as sexually aggressive as men.

Wierder story I heard in the news a few years back; a guy was on his second date with a girl, while they were parked somewhere, a guy pulls a gun on them, makes the guy get out of the car the rapes HIM before running off.
Not often you hear about male rape outside prison situations.

South Africa has been called "The Rape Capital of the World". Crime rate is amazingly high over there.
South Africa has been called "The Rape Capital of the World". Crime rate is amazingly high over there. It certainly is; I've met some people who moved from SA; they left because the crime rate was appaling, eventhough they lived on a gated property with armed guards hired.
It's no wonder why they allow people to install flame throwers under their cars over there.
And back on to the topic of the rape, I've got a related story. At my old school, we had a yearly charity walk where we raised money to support women who were abused by their male partners. The name of the walk is 'The Walk Against Male Violence'. Now, when I was trying to raise money for this, I obviously had to tell them the name of the walk, and most people misinterpreted the name at first, thinking we were trying to help male victims of violence. Now, what really confuses me is that some of these people were quite literally disgusted that such an even would be taking place (until they found out the correct meaning, obviously). Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't we be supportive of anybody who is a victim of violence? Just because it happens to a man doesn't mean it's any less worse than when it happens to a woman (although it happens to women much more frequently, obviously).

Yeah on the one hand you'd say "lucky guy" (only jokingly as it's pretty traumatic).
On the other hand what if he gots aids from it....

Excuse me for being naive, but isn't it much more difficult to force a man to have sex? I mean, if I was a guy and I was held at gun point, I'd probably be scared and my tool would be as limp as seaweed at low tide. Or maybe I don't understand the mechanics of it all. Is it still possible for men to have their bits in full working order even during life-threatning situations?

If they were fat chicks, I wouldn't blame the victim for being traumatized.

If they were ANY chicks its ok for the victim to be traumatised.
If they did something against his will, using threats of violence, its traumatic.

I'm more pointing to getting in the car.
Why?
They didn't trick him or anything, judging from the article. "get in the car and show us"...it's like he instigated it when he followed them, again, without considering a reason for this pointless goose-chase.
At the hotel the women persuaded him to join them for a drink, before asking him for directions to yet another hotel. One hotel seemed enough, I think.
But in the end he's evidently shaken up by this, and knowing men, could be out of it for a while.

I know, thats dumb of him to get in the car and all.
But... If a women met a guy at a bar and went for a walk/drive with him and was raped, its still rape. The actions before hand really should have no bearing on the crime that took place.

My thoughts exactly. This is South Africa we're talking about.
I do have the same question as unoriginal_cyn, though. If the guy wasn't willing to some extent, how did the women get anywhere with it all? Sorry if anyone was offended by the black humor here. (Nights?) I certainly don't condone male rape, but it's one of those "Makes you wonder." kinda things. That, and how the entire situation seems like the script to a really bad porno movie.

The body and emotions react differently at times. If you've ever had that whole "morning wood" thing, then that's an example. Only this one is a bit more complicated; when a guy doesn't want to, I'd think that it's hopeless to try. Unless drugs were involved, which would change the case.

It doesn't say what kind, just that it was rape. Perhaps he was forced to do a little muff diving. Munching carpet could also be considered rape.

This is true. THAT place would be a very bad placed to be forcibly raped by 3 women. Hell, i don't want to be forcibly raped like that by 1 woman!

Augh. That could be why they mentioned "nature" of the case. It makes more sense, too; but I'm sure that rape is posted when it goes further than "munching carpet".

I believe there was a story where three women raped a man out in some country area... If I can find an article with the story, I'll try to post it. But one of the major parts of the rape involved binding him and then shoving straw down his urethra.
That's not fun. x.x
