Who was the coolest teacher you've ever had? My history teacher from last year gave us free days every other day or so, and would randomly give 100's. One person even got 100 for a test grade by giving him tips on SOCOM 2. It's a real miracle I learned something in that class, especially since I'm in AP US history this year...really fuckin hard.

A new challenger comes in second. My Algebra II teacher basically told us to skip class tomorrow if we can get a note since he won't be there, just a substitute. (he kept saying "if you happen to get skip I mean sick").

My speech teacher. He always joked around with us and pretty much issued the assignments for us to do on our own accord. After that, we just talked and joked around. We were really cool.

Next is my Algebra and Geometry teacher in middle school. He was a great teacher and was really easy-going. The best part was he would bring his Playstation and he'd let us play any game we liked. He even competed against us on many occasions.

My AP Govt. teacher was also a great guy. Real friendly and involved with the community. He sometimes mixed up his priorities in teaching, but he was cool nonetheless. He even let us skip class whenever he took certain students to special events. And that was my last class of the day, so I'd just go home. :D

I see...my ROTC teacher in my enlisted ranks (9th and 10th are in one school and 11th and 12th are in another, which means different instructors) was really strict, but some days he would sit around and tell big fish stories (like how he beat the state champion track runner, but the coach wouldn't allow him on the team because he was poor). My instructor this year is cool but doesn't compete with the others.

hehe probably my English teacher at high school, she was like a mum to me and my mates, we used to get away with SO much stuff all the other pupils hated us :D Ah well, sucks to be them.

Maybe my chemistry teacher in high school too, he didn't come in for 6 months and then came back with a beard and was slightly insane.

Or my french teacher, he was hilarious, we used to pretend we didn't know how to say hello and stuff so he used to mime it ;x he got fired in the end... :(

My instructor worked at a nuclear weapons facility during Vietnam, and was a drill sergeant during Desert Storm, so he doesn't have many stories like that. But he did tell us about the time he and 2 other guys accidentally walked into a SS reunion in their BDUs.

nuclear reactor reminds me of the story my instructor told me about how this marine sat on a uranium shell from a m1a1 ambram in the first gulf war and radiated his nuts

Crazy Chem. teacher
Ha ha, I love crazy teachers. I remember I always had this substitute in my classes that was absolutely hilarious. And he wasn't trying to be!

He'd come into class with a Scruff McGruff voice (think raspy dog if one does not know who he is) and start lecturing us on inane topics like his favorite books and stuff. And he'd give stars as rewards on our papers. And "Schnickers", which were Snickers. :D

"You don't do your work, and I'm not going to give you a STARRRRR."

I remember once he was talking to us about the Emancipation Proclamation in junior high...

Him:Ah yes! The Masturbation Proclamation!
Friend of mine: What did you say!?
Him:<confused look on his face, then a long, long blink> ... the EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION!

And once when I was in another class in high school. It was raining outside and we were enjoying the sound of the rain in silence... Then he suddenly stood up, pushed his chair back, slamming his hands onto his desk and yelled...
"HOLY SHIT! I think I left my SUNROOF open!"

And hightailed it out of the room. Freakin' hilarious.

I had several cool teachers... a math teacher that taught us how to play Euchre and would sometimes give us free days to play, an english teacher that would frequently have us watch good movies and then write some kind of response paper, and a science teacher who did a lot of cool experienments and was just an all around cool guy.

My SAI in ROTC was pretty cool. He would joke around with us sometimes and once he let us play some video games that were on his computer in the class. My favortie teacher was my 6th-8th grade teacher. In my middle school we kept our same teacher for are whole time there. Coolest teacher I ever had so far. I still talk to him every now and then. On another note Im suprised to see some other JROTC cadets here.

haha....when i was in highschool, my psychology class was awesome because:

1) the teacher 'read' our handwriting (interpreted it and stuff)
2) she let us sit wherever we wanted...floor, desks, tables, etc
3) she let us leave class and wander around doing whatever we wanted
4) most of our classes consisted of trying to psychoanalyze each other
5) the cute boy....no names though. :D
6) she would give us passes to skip other classes
