There's a new rules announcement. Everybody, please give it a read-through. Thought I'd post about it here just in case the announcements bar doesn't catch everybody's eye. Ignorance is not a valid excuse for breaking a rule.
If you have any questions/rule suggestions, this would be a good place to voice them as well.

Thank you. It’s all about good manners towards and respect for each other. Now, it’s simply a matter of enforcement.

Yes, thank you. Anything that will make people think an extra second or three before clicking the 'post' button.
Hey! You promised me a button that sends an electric shock out to users who break the rules and there isn't one. *pout* You spoil all my fun.

Well, not publicly of course.
It's no fun if they see it coming.

Hey, shocks can be fun. ;)
Bring on the shock button I say!

They all sound good to me, though I hope the mods aren't too strict on the 'IM thread' rule... I mean, if there are only two people and it's relatively on-topic, it shouldn't be a problem, right?

I think for as long is it confines within the post-timer limit, yes, however, two shouldn't be the only people to tango in one subject.

Why do we even need IM threads? It's what the fucking IM services are for.
Honestly, very few people care about other people's IM conversations, even if they are supposedly amusing.
There's really nothing topical about them anyways.

They have no excuse anyways. When you join a site, you should read the rules, period.
That, and Az has a rule that ignorance to the rules is not an excuse. :D

I'm just saying stuff like the Japanese langauge threads we had for a while... Not many posters, but it's not like those that were were off topic... Just not a lot of interest. *shrug*

You an apparantly get a VB hack that causes people to get a pop up every page until they read the rules and click an I accept button.
