WOW. And I thought my handwriting In Japanese was sloppy  Sometimes, it takes a little 10-12 year old girl's handwriting to make you feel better.

actually... I don't think they're 10-12 yr olds. She said she and her friends were foreign exchange students. I'm guessing they're college kids?

:duh: I hope not. For her sake at least :) I thought girls generally have better handwriting. I keep scrolling down at the paper and glancing just to make sure my statements aren't with merit, and damn it, she earned it :innocent:

girls DO have good handwriting in general. You should see this one Japanese guy in my class. Even our Japanese teacher (native) had a hard time reading his test.
Some (or a lot of) girls write in really bubbly letters, and I used to think that was neat until I actually had to read one, and now I'm very annoyed with bubbly letters. Tiny print is just as annoying, although they look really pretty from far away. Guys... on the other hand... I don't think it's a problem of writing the letters neatly, but I think they have trouble writing straight. In math class, we have students put up math homework everyday, and most guys have their work written going in all different directions. They write crooked, and squished, which makes the text look like a swarm of ants. I'd say this person has a pretty decent handwriting...
