Sock Full of Boiled Dimes

That's right I said it.
I will always go around and see some guy claim how confusing girls are, hell I even said it myself. That's because it is the truth. The only thing is that we fail to put ourselves in their place (god forbid) to know what they are going through.
Girls think guys are confusing as well. I'm not sure how we are confusing to you because I have never actually been in your shoes, but I assume the confusion is there.
The truth is that everyone is confusing. Too many people getting mixed signals and bad messages from one another that having a decent conversation is a battle itself.
I'll give you this scenario: Johnny likes Sally and thinks she is really cute. He finally worked up the courage to talk to her, but she didn't really seem all that into the conversation. She looked a little weirded out to Johnny and she left just after a little bit of conversation. Johnny doesn't think Sally likes him and therefor decides that it just isn't worth to persue anymore.
Sally likes Johnny, but can't really find up the right words to say to him. All of a sudden one day Johnny walked up to her out of nowhere and talked to her. Actually TALKED to her. She tried her best to respond but she was nervous and he seemed a little bit quite every time she responded to him. Fearing that she might make more of a fool of herself Sally makes up an excuse to leave to get herself out of that situation.
This scenario isn't far from the truth of what men and women go through everyday. A scenario for the couples now:
Jim just finished coming home from work and taking a load off in his nice comphy bed. He decides to call his girlfriend, Alice, to see how she is doing. When he gets on the phone with her she's in a bad mood and she won't talk to him about it. She just tells him that "You know what you did" and he really doesn't know. Frustrated he slams the phone hanging up on her.
Alice looked forward to seeing her boyfriend after he got off of work failed to see him come to her house. She starts pacing around feeling as if he should be there and she gets angry that he isn't there. Finally she gets a phone call and she erupts on him. Feeling that he should know that he should see her he has thousands of times before. The phone slams and she starts to cry.
Relationships and conversations are frustrating because we honestly don't know what the other person is thinking. We take glances, signatures, words, etc. out of context and mix them up for good or bad things and in the end feel foolish about ourselves.
I feel that the way people can get around this is to actually talk to each other. That way, maybe they just wont seem so confusing anymore and you don't have to play a stupid conversation game with each other.
