I used to do video editing in highschool, and made a crazy b/w film that looked kind of like the movie, "Pi". It featured a buddy of mine who was a deaf, that, after making a trip on the bus, lost his hearing-aid; throughout the film, all sound is interpreted in horrific/unusual noises that I made and borrowed, some from Melt Banana tracks :)
Prior to losing it, a white noise is placed in the background, which is then replaced by some momentary silence, where the sounds start marching in as soon as he hits the next transfer.
I had one of my other buddies ask, "do you like pancakes?" and these people on the bus were looking at us like we were nuts...it was a fun film. In the end, he drowns in the sounds and then comes to at the bus stop he started at; it was a day dream that begun when his glasses fell off. He gets up, notices the bus driver waiting on him (he let us film, and did some nice acting) with an impatient look, then the film ends as it drives off.
The editing was kind of painful; I was the only one doing it, since it was my own film. It got in the HS film fest too...though I doubt anyone got it. Artsy stuff.
holy hell. I don't think you need any of us to tell you, and I don't care if i'm the only that was impressed but you're talented ^^. It's always good to see soemoen with a passion take it seriously and excel at it.
btw, all that shit i can't do but what programm did you use to the naruto music video type thing? I think that would be fun to mess with one day or atleast know what program you used. I tried one time with windows movie maker lol. It was a pain in the but but it turned out ok.
Obvouisly it doens't have any effects or anything. But nice stuff. The only video(im about to watch them all) that I can really notice the sublte details was the music video so far. Things like timing and shaking/tilting the screen to the music of the beat and such. I don't know what program you used but i knw on windows media player timing things to the music was HARD.
K off i go.
EDIT: people who can do that crazy shit on DDR always have my respect. You guys are crazy, how how how lol HOW.

i used adobe premiere, the buggiest video editor EVER, but it gets the job done.
on premiere it has little ticker marks, but i learned how to time sound in video just through being able to play drums and stuff, you gotta be able to have an ear for it and notice the wavelength changes in the wavelength editor on there also.
as for ddr... i can do better now ^^ those videos have me going about 12-13 steps a second. my top speed now is 16 steps a second. :D but there are still faster people...
