I never knew about that page. These covers are seriously the work of a comedic genius. They are so painfully funny they can't be unintentional. The timing, the amazingly cheesy lines like "If you unmask me, someone dies!" combined with the complete lack of reason why superman would do any of this - all flying under the heroically stoic banner of superman posing on the top of every issue.

My favorite has to be the one with the prankster putting pennies in his own ear, with superman threatening to kill him if he doesn't stop.
