Oh man, I usually hate Game to Movie conversions but I'm gonna have to watch this one, I love the Silent Hill series, although I've only seriously played the 1st one though, the others seemed...like lesser games

I think the second one is the best one, the third was good but it felt more like resident evil (wich is not a bad thing but still...... plus you get a lightsaber!!) and the fourth just sucked. the second one is just like the first one except better graphics, sound and abiance(sp?)

I liked the game...but I couldn't finish the first one cause It scared the hell outta me :o. First video game to ever do so too....

Good games are always bad movies. Looks like it will be pretty bad in this case.

The first Silent Hill will always be my favorite. None of the other games could get me to feel quite the same way... Especially when I first ran into one of those kid zombie... things... in the school.

This game was really hard for me. I kind of suck at video games. I like them, but in general I suck. I'll probably go see the movie, though. I'm not too critical about movies, I often find them amusing or interesting even when there has been negative critical reviews.

I hate TPS's Third Person Shooters, all the movements are jerky and unnatural. Like max payne and such, you just run around with a weapon in your hand, always running the same way. They suck! Oh woops, opened the wrong door, backtrack! shoot shoot smash!

The only TPS/RPG that had OK gameplay was Devil May Cry series, that rocked.

I kind of think that Silent Hill sucked as a game... but there were some very creepy parts. I'd enjoy seeing it as a movie.

Edit: Oh, I also heard that the director of the SH series is directing (or at least helping to direct) the movie.
