Get back with this girl. I've done way too many stupid things in the past and i've finally come to realise she's the one for me. But i don't foresee it happening anytime ever. :(

Grab your balls and ask her. Worst she can say is no. Then you don't have to worry anymore about "What If?"

Grabbing your balls while asking her isnt a good idea.
I want to attend a Formula 1 race again, but i don't see it happening anytime soon because it's freakishly expensive
I want to go to Japan as a JET and see as many samurai burials as I can (and many important battlefields, temples, shrines, etc...). Then write a successful book and possibly see Germany, Ireland, Greece, and possibly Egypt.

yeah, but u know. the truth is always ugly.. i think we're already breaking down on communication. a question like this will probably ruin everything and wierd her out at the same time... so meh. I'll do it tonight.
Have a wife that would be cool with me adopting a kid then having some of our own. And having the money to support them and my parents. Shrug no big wishes I guess. :)

I'd like to shove a lit stick of explosive up John Howard's arse and then run like hell. Sadly that's not likely to ever happen....

I try not to be greedy, really...I don't always succeed, but I try:
I want to marry and spend my years together with my wife-to-be. The first step to this goal is to move into an apartment together when she comes to California to attend college. I would also like enough money to insure that this is possible for us, of course.
I'd also like to be become stronger and a better martial artist...As I'm currently under the training of only myself (again) this may prove rather difficult ^^'

Ah yes, this is one of my dreams as well.
Anyway, i'd like to go to Japan: see as much historical stuff as i can and randomly tour around. I'd then like to travel across Europe and Asia going to as many interesting places as possible. Sadly this all would cost heaps.

I want to live a comfortable, happy life. With a family, even.
I guess to actually be unique on the matter, I want to become a great martial artist so I can be able to defend myself and my loved ones. Maybe even have something worthy of passing on to my children.

DJEvan- same here, well, always knew she was the one, but just situations haven't allowed it to work out. (due to long distances, and horrible timing)
Also would like to be successfull and live a happy full life, experiencing everything I can and savoring life.

I wish I were taller. I am only 171~172 cm (measurement varies), I would be glad to gain 10 more cm.
And, I also want to be an expert martial artist despite late start.

I hope to become a travel writer. I'm a pretty good traveler, and my writing (especially offline) is not horrible, so it is conceivable that this could happen.

Realisticly: I wish I stuck with an instrument when I was around 6-7. Preferably the guitar but anything would be fine. Now that I'm older I regret giving up on music. Who knows how good I would be by now..... Damn.
Also. I wish I can go back to High School and do somethings that I should of done....

Cliche as it is, I think being a rock star would be fun, though I can't see myself actually making a living off of my music--it happens to so small a percentage of the musical population, which is just growing ever larger.
So. I'd like to write. That'd be fun!

At the moment, it's moving out and renting an apartment, so I could concentrate on my own business rather than deal with my family (it isn't so bad, but alone time is good). Dreamingly, it's to fight one round with Genki Sudo in a Pride style match, and show him he's not the only contender who likes to dance in mid-battle :)

Have an adventure. I don't know how to explain it better than that, but I want to have a real adventure just once in my life. I don't even know how to define "adventure," I just know that if the opportunity for one presents itself, I'll probably feel it.
And hang glide. Actually, I hope that those two will somehow go together.
Yeah me too MFDub, get lost in another country somewhere is what I usually imagine when I think about that :D
I also wanna try sushi, learn to play guitar as well as Jimi Hendrix and do something/discover something amazing.

I want out of my pathetic-ass joke of a job and doing whatver the hell it is I feel like doing! Bounce off the walls one day, fine! Color my hair 50 zillion colors the next, awesome!! Whereever and whenever the wind blows me. Left to my own devices, I'm sure life would never be a dull moment.....(I've always had this odd knack of constantly getting into trouble...). Something would always fascinate me!!! And people fascinated with me!!! Kepp myself and the ppl around me on their toes!!!!

Climb K2 and not die - and this is not just a pipe dream, I really think (and hope) that I will be able to do this.
And I would like to be able just to get out of mainstream life for a while, you know, hitchhike/backpack around, sleep whereever I can find a bed, just have fun and take a break from life for a while, live out of a pack for a few months - although I can't see this happening while I'm still in school. Maybe after I graduate.

... hm. A good number of people here seem like they do want to stray from the mainstream life. I'm glad, because I feel the same way. I really don't want to go to college to get a job like everyone does. It seems really boring to me.
I thought of joining the navy and maybe getting an experience out of that, but then I decided maybe I should appease my father and at LEAST try college. That and I like my freedom very much.
At one point when I kept considering what career I should take (still do), I started having dreams of assassinating people. I told my mom about this and she said she sometimes did, too. She wanted to be an assassin at one point in her life. So yeah, I thought about it... but I don't think it's quite the ideal job at the current time. :D
There's something not too mainstream.

Do both - join the navy and they will pay you to go to college. It's a cheap way to put yourself through uni/college if you don't mind serving a few years afterwards.
I really don't want to go to college to get a job like everyone does. It seems really boring to me.

Yeah I know. One of the reasons I wanted to join was because I'd be taken care of. I don't like worrying about money. Still the possibility is not gone, I just chose not to do it right now. My family would rather have me in college right now.
As far as going to college... I wish I can find a career, if I have to, that would not be so damn mundane.

I wanna travel the world ( I know, very cliche). I also want to get back into singing (I went to college on a singing scholarship), and I want to take my horse to Germany and Spain and train with the masters over there.
After all that, I would like to get re-married (hopefully to a nice guy) and have a big family while living on a farm somewhere near mountains (doesn't even have to be the US). :p
I want to travel. It doesn't have to be anywhere in particular. I'd just like to travel and meet new people, and learn new things.

1. Write my book. I already have the outline, and I'm doing the research, but I still need to sit down and make it a story.
2. Get back into yoga, but this time be serious about it.
3. Get back to studying Chinese (and French and Japanese and Russian). I'm tired of being at the intermediate level.
4. Get back into rock climbing. Even if it's only occasionally, it still the best and most glorious sport ever invented. Nothing feels as good as pulling yourself up a wall by your fingertips.
5. Finish about 10 songs that I'm proud of and make a CD.
6. Oh, the places to go: Taroko Gorge, Yangtze River valley, Mt. Everest, Egypt, Paris, London, Moscow, Tokyo, Istanbul, New York City... I'm sure there are many others.
7. Close the deal with the girl that I'm chasing. Not just sleeping with her (though that would be nice), but to actually start a relationship. She might not be the One, but she make me stop thinking about looking for the One for a while.
8. Buy a hot plate, some pots and pans, and a good knife so I can start cooking again.
9. I would like to see my best friend's son. He was born about 5 months ago, but he's on the other side of he world, and I won't be going back there before next year at the earliest. I know my friend will be a great father because I've seen what he does for his friends. I'd just like to witness it.
10. I'd like to get famous enough to be at an awards ceremony so I can thank my mom & dad for believing in me when they had no reason to, when I didn't believe in myself and let me figure out where I was going by myself. I've already thanked them in person, but it would be nice to do it in front of everyone.

If do, choose the Navy, the Air Force, or the Coast Guard. If you feel like you have no clue what you want to do with yourself, three years in the service isn't a bad way to spend your time. You learn to value a lot of the things that you'd normally take for granted (like good food and clean water).
Not that I'm telling you to join; life can blow as in the service. It just depends on who you work for at any given time.
Also, I have a little fyi for you all in the service or thinking about joining. When I joined I had well over 90 credit hours. The problem I've run into is that the V.A. will only pay you your full amount if all 12 credit hours are geared towards your major or degree. This wouldn't be a problem if I had no college . I'd simply take the required g.e.; however now I'm going to change my major(again [not that it matter :) ]) so I can get paid in full.
Just a little food for thought.

Yeah, me too. I still climb occasionally, but I REALLY want to improve my rock climbing. I know I'm not going to be amazing at it, but it would be kinda nice to be able to redpoint a 5.10 (I know, I suck).
I also really want to improve my ice and mixed climbing.
Good luck with getting back into it.

Can't you just see the reaction - "omg, they got it totally wrong. The dress was supposed to be maroon, but he wrote purple in his book"... goes off to try suicide again.
lol though, I HATE people like that.

i've seena lot of the world, so to speak, it's alwatys fun and i hope to continue doing that forever. i hope to go through with my plans to go backpacking through europe next summer (i know, i've done it, but any excuse to go to amsterdam). i wish i could continue through with my martials and pursue, seriously, my career goal. my guitar lessons are really picking up, hope to get amazing fast, and want to pick up the piano again. i want to learn jap, intr, within a year (doable if i keep that carrot infront of me) and perhaps relearn latin.
but what i want most is for my parents' success in their new business. that would be just awesome.
