Kensei is right. Love can empower you to do amazing things, sometimes to much greater degrees than hate. I know in the times I've been so angry to be driven to hate and I tried to fight I was rather... sloppy. Not only that, hate divides people. Not such a great thing for humans.

Love can be similar to hate, but there are plenty of differences to distinguish the two. I know when I've fought to protect something dear to me I never wore myself out... I always had drive left.
