Last night I dl'ed RF online via the torrent they have. Today I went to paly it and I got the following message. Has anyone else had this problem & if so, what did you do about it?

I looked on their website for patches and all they had was the torrent I dl'ed.

Ugh, at least they could have used better English.

It's a really bad game. Worst game I have ever played in my life. Took about 45 min to beat it. It's a Japanese hentai game in which you battle girls on an isalnd and as you do so their clothes rip off. After you K.O. them you um....massage away their bruises. It's really dumb and super boring. It's mostly an erotic novel, but it's entirely in Japanese so I just click through it all.

You could see worse stuff watching Disney's Aladdin.

for it to work, you must set your system clock to beijing time (GMT+8:00)

Beijing is on Daylight Savings I think. Try +9:00 or +7:00 GMT. My friend in Shanghai is +9 GMT and I think she is in the same time zone.

You have to uninstall the game, set your clock to GMT +8 AND THEN install it and download the patches.

And it's a cool ass game. Beats the hell out of a lot of MMO's that I've played.

just to clarify, you cant simply change the time for yours computer's clock to the current time in beijing.
you have to go over to the "time zone" tab and select bejing from the drop down

Alright, re-installed the game with the time set to Beijing time AND it's time zone.

Ran the RFLauncher and nothing happens. It says it's connecting, then a minute later it just disappears as if I never even ran the program. Tried restarting the computer, then re-running the launcher but it still doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Oh, this just in: They banned all US (as well as many other countries) addresses because of some terms of service with the provider (and various laws down there). So, the only way in now is via proxy. Might as well just wait for the US release.

Oh well. I can still get in but the average person wouldn't want to go through the trouble :P

It's really up to you. On the RF-PH server us Bellatto were dominating the server. MAU's are pretty crazy. A lvl 30 MAU vs a lvl 30 accretian takes only 1 damage from the accretian because it's defense is so high. Plus, the MAU has 110,000 HP.

However, accretians are all about power. They have launchers that can frigging blow away just about anyone not in a MAU. All the races are balanced so it's just a matter of personal preference. I haven't heard much about the cora. However, I got attacked by one last night and she did 768 damage a hit to me..and I only have 1548 hp. That's the most damage I've taken from any player (more than even any higher lvl monsters have done). So they can pack on the damage just as well.

I bet I'm going to run the game and find out it's unplayable do to it being ENITIRELY IN KOREAN!

Actually, it's got an easy to figure out interface and everything is pretty easy to figure out. You shouldn't have too many problems.

yeaaaah! It's working! Had to install it twice though b/c I forgot to turn it to Seoul time.

I signed up for the beta, haven't gotten it yet. The game looks badass, but as for saying the UI is a rip off WoW is just retarded. If you want to go down that route, then WoW's interface is a rip of L2

I think this will be a promising game, if not I'll try Ragnarok online 2(private servers FTW!) and of course... PSU(phantasy star universe) cause it and D2 were my addiction after FPS'ers died(CS players I hate you all) and all the l33t speaking kids jumped in and ruined it -.-

Holy god that games looks more awesome than I'd hoped!
I had last week showed the game to my BF who loves mechas! But the trailers sucked cause we all know games never are as good as the movie trailer.

I tried a ...ahem... private server of RF Online to test it out. It is a really interesting game. Looking forward to it's release in Malaysia/Singapore. However version I tried was WAY buggy, but still gave a reasonable feel to the game.
