Ugh... Any book that spells magic with a 'k' at the end isn't worth the money, even if in this case it doesn't use that word in any kind of literal sense. Though, I'm more irked that the author of that book is making money off of a very basic atheist philosophical system which so many atheists already follow (If you really want it, I would suggest finding an e-book version of it to download but then again that's my response to everything that I think is too shoddy to deserve my money). But that's a completely different thread for a different day.

Back on track:

Well...the bags are like...if they don't get me anything else. I picked these ones that are like...worth almost as much as the camera. I'm getting tired of the polka-dot one I got and it's not even a year old yet. Whoops. Oh well, maybe I can convince like...my entire family, aunts and uncles included, to pitch in and get me one. :p

I'd really love to see New Orleans up and running - I miss the place.
I'd like for money to not ever matter - I really hate it.
I'd also like to find a major with classes that I'd enjoy and that I could take (the engineering department is driving me mad with "the pre-req for the pre-req for the pre-req for that one class you want to take").

I also want Harry Potter 7 to come out! (and the time to re-read all of the books...again)

NERD - that's a nice camera, but while you're going to be spending that much cash, might as well go for a nice lens on top and try for some kind of discount, heheh. saw a guy with one of those the other day, though... -_-,

Me? Well, some time, for one. Then, I would love to have some music or viewing/ reading material Doesn't need to be much - just spice things up for a while. A nice bottle of something, perhaps.

There is a lot of things I would like, but in reality, not many I really need. I am happy with a few simple things, as I rarely get the chance to enjoy them anyway.

Speaking of lenses, though, I know a nice 75-300 zoom I have had my eye on for a month or so. I have some discount tickets and with the store discount, I could get 25% off. It's a decent lens, too, and the sheer range that would add...

Komachi Angel- I have a friend who has a 20D, which is less than half of 5D, and it is a nice camera. However, I figured if I was gonna dream for something, might as well shoot for the impossible. I don't think I can get a discount though, especially if it is one of those good lenses instead of the kit lenses, which are okay at best.

75-300mm Canon lens- now that's one expensive lens. I only have a Elan 7NE at the moment, and I've been eyeing either the 15mm f/2.8 fisheye or the 50mm 1.4 lens. Lenses are just too expensive, and it sucks to have no income, period.

Photography is one of those things that can really drain your money if you want it too. I am very serious about my photography, but even so, there are limits upon limits. I know of one 80mm portrait lens that costs 8k alone.

The one I am looking at will be about 300 dollars, which is sitll expensive, but it would more or less round off a wide range. I am currently working with a Konica Minolta 5D with an 18-75 mm zoom lens. It's a nice camera, but takes a lot of work to understand how to use it properly.

Fisheye lenses are neat fun, and you can do a lot with them. Also, I don't know what the situation with filters is overseas (ie not Japan :/) but they are a fairly cheap way to add heaps of potential to your shots as well, I found.

Still working on my skills (z?) but I am happy to say I have some photos hanging in some stores around here in town. The printing wasn't terribly expensive, and while I didn't get money for them, it's nice to have some shots out and about. Plus I got a free tea set. :)

I know- if I had the money, I could easily blow over thousands of dollars, because I'd like the Mark II, play around with a Leica, and get some really nice zoom lens to go bird watching.

Is the Minolta the only camera you have? I don't know much about them, and maybe they have cheaper lens compared to Canon. And I would like a good UV filter to start out with, had some trouble on the beach over the summer.

I'm still learning photography, and it's more or less a hobby than drawing. Still, working in both areas make me understand the subject matter a lot more intimately and help with the composition in general.

but if I could pick ANY job, it would be to get a steady foot into the design-industry and get the position of a junior art director. And the reason for the junior part and not directly to Creative Director is cuz I like to develop and not take shortcuts.

Thing is, I really don't know. Most likely the first US Dragonball GT box set, maybe the new Tom & Jerry Spotlight Collection (though I'm still very pissed about the last one), some art supplies like cel paper (or whatever it's called), vellum pad (big) and Chartpak AD Marker set (expensive as hell). Maybe a bulk-film loader with some high-speed film (Like 1600 or higher) as well. I would also like whatever Fullmetal Alchemist DVDs (after vol. 4) that have been released by FUNimation by the holiday season. That'd be about it, I'd probably cut some stuff. Kingdom Hearts II for PS2 would be nice, but there's not even a confirmed US date yet...
