Ehh, I'm feelin' pretty shitty right now, so, I kinda made this to make me remember I need to stop being a whining bitch and get stuff done so I can eventually do these things.




Ok, what are your goals? List them all, than update us if you finish them, or make a step in achieving them.


Mine are:
Get good grades (I'm working on this, I have Cs in most of my classes and an A in English)
Get better at guitar
Take up a new instrument
Stop whining
Finish Michelle's song
Go to College
Teach English in Japan
Keep on goin'

Get promoted to 2nd class... its been fricken over 2 years since I've gotten a promotion. Someone who came here one rank under me has been 1 rank higher than me now for 6 months. Its not because I suck or anything... my evals and test scores have all been really great, I just picked a job with sucky promotion.

I'd like to get my creativity and imagination back... and the will to write again would be awesome.
I'd like to find a partner who I can more intelligent conversation with than "face it, your sister is a nutso klepto," and variations thereof.
I'd love to go on another ghost tour, if I can find someone to hold my hand while I freak out.
I'd love to get a raise at work, and have some sense of job security.
I'd like to see our PM fall under a bus, but I'd settle for Labor getting back into power and reversing all his recent stupid decisions, particularly the ones that affect my pay packet and job security.
I'd like to get through Christmas without going completely broke... again... my credit card is still maxed out :( Not helped by the glut of good games and Transformers this year...

Um... long term, I'd like kids, a wife, a job to be able to support them all (or if my wife has a better paying job than I do, that she makes enough to support us while I write a series of best-selling novels and make us stinking rich), to lose weight, to kick my coke addiction, and to illimin-eight illaturicy from the edjukashon system.

Alternately, work in a kick-ass library.

It would be nice to get into some little ameture group to make cheesy little games, mostly for the fun of it, sell a few copies as shareware... - Win some sort of award for my Photography portfolio from the NFAA.
- Quit bad habits like procrastination (maybe this should be long term. This is something that I've been guilty of for YEARS. I need to stop saying I'm gonna do something and finally do it).
- Get accepted to a good art school.
- Quit daydreaming and finally ask out a girl I really dig.

Long-term:
- Put together my own studio.
- Possibly become a highschool art teacher.
- Pick up an instrument and commit to it (I quit guitar. I've considered picking up the saxophone or piano).

That's about it when I really think about it. I'll be happy getting even some of those done. I'm not making it a requirement for myself to get all of those done. Note none of these are in any particular order.

Graduate!
Get a real job to pay off student loans. None of that $5/hour stuff.
Do JET or something similar for a year or two.
Learn more statistics and analysis. Figure out 3d graphics programming.
Brew some good mead.
Get a new computer.


Long Term:

Expand my fountain pen collection. Rather, start a fountain pen collection. Two pens does not a collection make.
Write a computer game that doesn't suck.
Move to California, the UK, or Australia.
Establish residency there (for tuition purposes)
Get a PhD from a reputable school in logic and/or computer science
Create a start-up tech company. If it works out, sell out as soon as possible (Google has started buying start-ups in their first year) and retire with megabucks. Fund liberal policy groups and secular charities. Pursue long-shot research.
If it doesn't work out, teach and do research for grants.
Have many ale-tasting vacations in the Benelux region.
Learn to make perfect Yorkshire pudding, red beans and rice, panang curry, and cheesecake. They are the crowning achievements of human civilization. If we ever have to prove our species' worthiness or be destroyed by a superior alien race, those are what we should show the judges.

My only goal is to get into Power of the Pen, a writing club at my school. It's only in Ohio and we compete and everything. I was on the team last year, but alot of new people tried out his year...

Marry my gf by age 25 (that gives me 4 more years to save up for a car, a house, and for a wedding...not really possible....maybe 27 then) I want to enjoy my prime years with her =(

6. Find someone to sleep with. I have too damn much frustration to work out without some deserving outlet.
7. Find something for Kyle for Christmas; other family members as well.
8. Scare the shit out of one of my teachers. Not sure which, though Cindy possibly. Not quite yet planned out on how, though. Getting there.
9. Finish a few of my stories.
10. Survive the hell in which I reside.

Long Term

1. Eat paella.
2. Utterly destroy those that have betrayed me into oblivion (still working out the details for each specific one.)
3. Commit a crime and get away with it (something federal or perhaps "heinous"-- again, still working out the details.)
4. Write a novel or two.
5. Make enough money to build myself a house in the middle of nowhere and put up a giant stone wall surrounding it. A writer's seclusion that suits me; a cross between Hunter S. Thompson's estate, Mort Rainey's hide-away, and a gothic castle. Again, working on the details.
6. Have several children, all male since I will not tolerate females; married or living together?
7. Tell the world to go fuck itself.
8. Make use of my scars. The rather large one on my neck and the one on my ring finger are most prominent, might as well put them to good use.
9. Beat the ever-loving shit out of someone, just because I can. Or for my amusement.
10. Do everything that's on every BDSM list, again, just because I can and/or for my amusment.
11. Graduate the pointless thing known as college.
12. Survive at least until 35. After that I don't really give a shit.
