I have an advertising assignment where I have to make an ad for a certain product which has a few keywords connected to it which I've picked out...
But since I don't have English as my native language I have not encountered too many proverbs or colloquial expressions that could be used containing any of these words. Of course, I know some, but they hardly seem adequate for the job.
The words are "Stiff", "Rise", "Shine", "Glow", "Fun" and "Excitement".
Yes, I can see it in your brain, the connection between the words must be.... SEX! Indeed it is... And I've made that as a backup plan to have the ad just contain the word SEX with capital letters on it and with small print underneath for the product copy. Cuz we all know SEX sells...
The product itself is a glow in the dark condom called "Nite Lite" and their current slogan is "Rise and Shine" so don't pick that one :P
I've already tried with these "A night in shining armour" and "Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back". The latter didn't quite have the "umpf" to it... so I'm prolly gonna use the "SEX" or "A night in..." ad if I can't come up with a better expression to use...
Another one that has sprung to mind was "Got a light?" and have a picture of the condom next to it.
You guys got any other ideas? (Oh and incidentally, if any mods feel this to be an inappropriate place to have this, feel free to move the thread)
