Twilight Princess is a decent Zelda, so it's a superior game when compared to the general fair. Psychonauts is a unique standalone game that has a lot of quirks and original gameplay. As to an alternative, I would suggest God Hand, Zone of the Enders (1 and 2), Dark Cloud (1 and 2), Shadow of the Colossus, Or Dragon Quest VIII. Those will keep you occupied for weeks and month yet, I think.

Agreed. Who are you, Thomas Cruise Mapother IV? Surely you've got time for both my good man. And they're both worth playing.

However, if it's assumed that you're eventually going to play both, and you're asking which is more playable in general, I would say that Psychonauts has had a longer-lasting appeal for me.
